I agree with AdrianHi, it is important to WI at the same time of day to get consistent results. CompletelyLost, see what happens at the end of the week xo

Did you weight yourself at the same time of day?
A pint of water weighs more than a pound.
I can get a difference on 3lbs in the same day depending on when I time the weighing compared to food and drink going in and what goes on at the other end ;)

I weigh at exactly the same time everyday. Usually I'm heavier at night, lighter in the morning... but I weighed myself this morning and got the +3lbs :o I did have 2x pint glasses of water last night so you could be onto something with the water suggestion.

I'm going to stop weighing myself throughout the week because it's just disappointing. I should know better, really.

2 pints of water, assuming they are still in you, weighs 2.5lbs.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Completely lost, the other day..Saturday I think, I weighed myself, had a wee, skipped into the bedroom to tell DH the great news, took him back to the bathroom to look ....and was four pounds heavier. Another reason to love calorie count is the trend line rather than the daily/weekly weight. :)

I had this lying around on my photobucket account:

  • I'm still learning... the yoghurt banana chips i thought were a fairly healthy snack are actually worse in terms of calories & fat than chocolate. Apparently the chips are deep fried which i didn't know.
Still, they're tasty so i've measured out some 150kcal pots of those, dried fruit & nuts.

I took an average of sundays & mondays weights for my starting weight. They were a couple of pounds different. I always get fed up with my weight on wii fit zigzagging all over the place so i try to look at the overall trend rather than the individual dots on the graph.

im being honest and a realist and say at the moment im not expecting weight loss this week lol, not been the greatest 4 days so far and out for dinner tonight and tomorrow
however i could manage and salvage something over the weekend
  • That is impressive Adrian Hi. I am doing a weight chart (www.caloriecount.com) too and find it helps. Weigh in tomorrow. Apart from yesterday when I was out of the house almost all day and basically snacked instead of having a proper meal and ended up eating 3 muesli bars, I think I have been pretty good this week so I hope to have lost some weight.
Sorry to hear your dog is ill lostinrates.

CompletelyLost, I'm the opposite - I tend to lose a lb or two at my sneaky midweek WIs then it goes back on by Monday!!! Maybe I should change my WI day to Thursday or Friday ha ha xo
