Well its my first weigh in of the month and i lost 1LB (which was the 1LB i put on over last week weekend) :o
To be honest im surprised i lost that as other then a couple of 20mins walks with the dog each day i'm stuck in with the heating guys and my diet been quite high in bread this week, i do find it too much bread leaves me bloated.

Food today is porridge, lunch im at a friends (but thats fine as she is a raw foodist) dinner is veg casserole with some HM rolls, baked apples for pudding.

Hope everyone is doing well, Alex have you tried the skinny cow hot chocolate i got some last week and found i prefer it to the options

    I've been Money Tipped!
re hot chocolate I think I'd rather save the calories and have a ''real'' hot chocolate or cocoa at night.

I'm struggling. I had a bad night with a trip to the emergency vets (i.e. a dog had a bad night, I don't see the vet for me). and had three hours sleep. I'm tired and had a busy day I can't seem to face much of. My head hurts, and breakfast seems a horrid idea, yet coffee was a bad one.....you know when you get hungry and you don't know what to eat...you don't fancy anything at all and almost feel a little sick? I have that :(

I'm going to eat an apple to start with....nothing I'd normally eat thats proper feels appetising...a croissant would go down well though ;)
  • can i join you guys please ??

perhaps not for the weigh in this month though as im not sure of my exact weight at the start of the month, i could however do with some moral support :o

im now 4 weeks into another diet, i have real food issues and im struggling to stay postive that i can actually lose weight (my mum has been over-weight all my life and ive watched her go on diet after diet, we all know why she is failing as she has not got any will power or the concept of what goes in goes on)

I started out at 13 stone (eeeeek) and im now down to 12 stone 4oz so have seen results already but this is always the part where i go back to my old ways of 'just the odd bag of crisps wont hurt' i skipped lunch so i can have chips for dinner !!

Im fairly active but ive added in a keep fit session at home every other day at least, and (possibly pointlessly ) i splurged on a slendertone as my stomach is my problem area where i never trim down.

You all seem like a positive bunch so im hoping to steal some of your good vibes

  • LiR hope you feel better later and that your dog is ok.
Can't believe how good I've been so far this week. Although my problem tends to be keeping going. I'm supposed to be having 1500 cals a day but am having less than 1300 but will be having roast dinner at mums on saturday, although the potatoes and veg will be done in frylight so shouldn't be too bad. However I'd rather not have to worry about the cals.
Had pineapple juice, toast with !/2 an extra light laughing cow triangle, an apple and 400mls skimmed milk coffee so far today.
I'm planning a roll and soup for lunch and Mr S BGTY cod in breadcrumbs with HM potato wedges and veges for tea. With a banana and some clementines as snacks.
I've just bought some toffeecrisp mini bites for dd's lunchbox but they ae only 67 cals so I may have one as a treat later-bet they are tiny!!
Hope everyone has a good day.

  • I weighed myself this morning and am 3lbs heavier than I was three days ago :( I don't know what the h*ll is going on but I'm hoping it's my scales playing up. Otherwise I can't think how this is even possible.

*this is why I should stick to weighing myself weekly*

Did you weight yourself at the same time of day?
A pint of water weighs more than a pound.
I can get a difference on 3lbs in the same day depending on when I time the weighing compared to food and drink going in and what goes on at the other end ;)
