Oh poor Mr Bramble - but you might lose a few lb's fetching and carrying for him!! :rotfl:

Don't let him hear you say that! He'll get ideas! Luckily i have found him some crutches so he's plan of staying in bed till he's recovered has failed!

The good thing is now he's less likely to hobble to the kitchen to help (interfere) when I'm cooking so i can make everything super healthy!!

I finally found my Paul McKenna CD! Am going to listen to it tonight yay!

Anyone tried him? I liked the book a lot, it's great. I'm reading the Mars and Venus Diet Solution atm, it is hard going and I've only got to page 15!

Hi Tara I do the PMK programme and love it. I find that because I am allowed to eat anything I want as long as I am hungry, I eat it consiously and stop when I feel full, I no longer obsess about food which is a huge difference. I lost 7lbs quite easily in November, and even when I wasn't following the programme 100% during December and January I managed to only put on 1.5lbs which is amazing as normally when I fall off the wagon when it comes to dieting I end up putting on all the weight I took off!!

I have decided to weigh in once a week as I think going for the fortnightly weigh ins makes me think I don't have to be following the plan 100% the first week as I always have the second week to take it off. Therefore I will now weigh in on a Friday morning.

Weighed in this morning and have lost 1lb. Ony 6 more to go for feb :D.

good luck all on your forthcoming weigh ins.
  • Poshstock 66 you did make me laugh when you said you weighed yourself for a "sneaky peak"! I hope by your "proper" WI you will have lost some more!
I have decided I´m going to clean all the downstairs windows this weekend as I am ashamed to say I haven´t cleaned them since last summer; that will be good upper arm exercise and should burn some extra calories.

One KFC isn't going to affect your weight in a massive way. It's when you have KFC every night that it becomes a problem :)

I should weigh in today but I really don't feel like I can face it. I will wait until Monday and then do it - don't want to spoil my weekend :o

I know any excuse with men! I broke a bone in my foot in may 2008 when DS was only 18 months, and I had crutches, but still looked after DD, DS, and OH FULLTIME! I tell you though, when I couldn't get up quick enough to get DS off of the tv (:rotfl: thanksfully he's grown out of that now!) the crutches came in very handy! :D

I like to have a sneaky peak just to see how i'm doing! :o
Don't envy you with the window cleaning - but will burn off a few calories, so not all bad :p

Don't worry about it, I sometimes have a kfc and thoroughly enjoy it as it a once in a while treat! Just enjoy and don't make it a habit. :)

I'm off out with DD and her friends in about an hour and a half, and am still planning on only having a drink in Mcd's........wish me luck with that one!

I'm reporting a 1 lb loss this week. Have tried extra hard and had 3 swims this week but still can't budge more than 1 lb. Going out for a meal tonight so hoping not to go overboard and make some wise choices from the menu.
  • I have earl grey tea and white chocolate muffins in the oven. I've had a good week except that though :p
