Can I join again this month? I'd joined last month, but then my eating habits were so bad and the results so *so* bad that I was very reluctant to post again.
However, I've been back on the calorie-controlled diet since last Saturday, and when I weighed in this morning I had lost 5 lbs. Woo hoo!:j0 -

Wow  that's a crazy amount to lose in a week. Well done though.0 -

Totally agree. Never before have I ever had a weight loss greater than 2 lbs in a week. My body will probably rebel and gain 4 lbs back over the next week, just to teach me right for celebrating prematurely.0 -
Welcome back drutt and :j:j on the 5 pounds off! Also well done to spinme on the pound off as well - adding these to the other losses it almost counter balance my 16 pounds on
, somehow I don't think that one is accurate but until the tablets are fully out of my system I think my weight is going to be off the wall!

I'm reporting 0 loss this week
I seemed to have hit 10 stones 7 pounds and can't budge the weight. I have been ill the past fortnight with flu so not been my usual active self though, I'm very surprised I haven't actually put on.
Hubby is having Sky fitted tomorrow so I might go for a long walk whilst it's being done.0 -
hi ,
I am back from taking my DD out with her friends and I'm glad to say I resisted all temptation and I am really proud of myself!!:D
We sat in Mcd's for over an hour and all that passed my lips was a hot chocolate! I know it's not the best thing I could of had, but after sitting in a cold car for 1/2 an hour waiting, I just wanted something hot and not a diet coke! ( I don't drink tea/coffee! )
Still keeping everything crossed for monday's weigh in though. xx:money::money::money::money:
I love to save money0 -
Hi guys, well I can report a 3lbs in total loss this week, I was ill the beginning of the week, so lost a lot but as i have eaten a little again I have stopped at 3lbs which I am chuffed with.
No cheating or yearning the dreaded crisps or chocolate either...fingers crossed it lasts!0 -
Hi all
Drut congratulations for getting back on the diet and losing so much. Congratulations also to Spinme and snuggle for losing and to Bunnie1982 for staying the same - I know it's not what you wanted but it's better than putting on.
Poshstock - congratulations on resisting the MacDonalds. I did the same on Friday when I took DS there for a treat (he wanted one of the scooby doo toys!!!) but to be honest it was fairly easy for me to resist as I don't particularly like MacDonalds anyway.
I had an okay day yesterday. I went to a wedding fayre (getting married next March) and instead of hitting some of the fast food restaurants in the food hall nearby we went to M&S for lunch and had a sandwich selection. For tea at night I had some chicken kebabs as I wasn't feeling that hungry, so just had a snack for tea (probably not the healthiest choice but they needed using up from the freezer and I really fancied them:o). Listening to my body instead of just eating because it's 'dinner time' really helps.
Anyway planned for a better day today. Going to the wedding fayre has really motivated as I am going to try and get my dress soon. See you later.0 -
Hi Tara I do the PMK programme and love it. I find that because I am allowed to eat anything I want as long as I am hungry, I eat it consiously and stop when I feel full, I no longer obsess about food which is a huge difference. I lost 7lbs quite easily in November, and even when I wasn't following the programme 100% during December and January I managed to only put on 1.5lbs which is amazing as normally when I fall off the wagon when it comes to dieting I end up putting on all the weight I took off!!
I have decided to weigh in once a week as I think going for the fortnightly weigh ins makes me think I don't have to be following the plan 100% the first week as I always have the second week to take it off. Therefore I will now weigh in on a Friday morning.
Weighed in this morning and have lost 1lb. Ony 6 more to go for feb.
good luck all on your forthcoming weigh ins.
Well done on the weight loss Maisie M, and congrats on your forthcoming nuptials! What an amazing motvation to lose weight. Maybe I should get OH to propose as a weight loss tactic lol. Good idea also to change your WI to weekly.
I finally found my PMK CD, so will listen to that later. Is there any way to upload it onto the PC and put it on my iPod?
Yesterday was good overall. I was walking for at least 4 hours, and had a few drinks and some food, but not THAT much (prob about 4 glasses of wine and the rest of the evening I stuck to diet coke). I feel good today, I think I even feel a bit thinner ha ha! Will go for another walk today to make the most of the weekend. :T 3 weeks till holidays (i.e. bikini) eeeeek!
coco1980, sorry to hear about your WM and hoover but yay for the heating!
Everyone else - well done on the losses, STS, resisting temptation, hello to the newbies and returners! Let's have a good Sunday! :j
