Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in the fulfilment of your iPod Nano. So, it looks like I may have it in the next few days. I'll keep you posted!

For those who opened a Citibank account see this competition....

Also, see this Creditcard from them as well. If we can't get the Ipod, maybe we could get the £50 and buy one ourselves!!!

hi guys.
i didnt want to start a new thread, as i am sure my queries are relevant here.
i know the ipod thing has finished but i am thinking of opening an account and taking advantage of Quidco.
could someone double check the current terms and help me out?
it appears that it still needs to be credited with £1500.00pm via salary. the only exception to this being if you are self employed.
does crediting the account with £1500.00 count? anyone had experience of this?
also, i read a few posts up about 2 direct debits!! i can't see that requirement in the terms. any advice?
finally. if i decide the account isnt right for me, is it easy enough to close the account? what would happen if i didnt credit the account with £1500.00 but didnt close it? would they close it for me?
pulled this off the site:
Overdraft, debit card and cheque guarantee card are only available to persons over 18 years and with direct deposit of salary or regular monthly credits of at least £1,500. Overdraft is repayable on demand. Subject to status and conditions. Interest variable. Written quotations available on request. All interest rates are variable. To improve our service to you, we may monitor and record your phone calls with us. Citibank will not charge customers for using another bank's cash machines but have no control over banks charging customers for using its machines.
1. Overdraft
An interest free overdraft buffer of £500 is available to all customers subject to status. You must deposit your salary, or make regular credits if self-employed of at least £1,500 a month, to your current account to take advantage of this offer.0 -
Has to be salary as far as I'm aware.
2 direct debits / standing order - I have just done two for £1 each
Overdraft - £500 interest free and £500 interest free for 1yr = Total £10000 -
so still no IPODS anywhere then ?????
xmas is coming fast if you were planning on giving it as a pressie :rolleyes:Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
Any luck nataliej?0
