  • cally - sorry, I think I missed those posts. What is your website about - care of horses, retail, general horseyness ( can you tell I am out of my comfort zone here. They are the things with the long hair arent they?)

    There was someone on here who declared very early on they were going to do a doggy website. Do horsey people like dogs too generally?

    Think its a great idea and a good starting point.

    so tenders to cally for linking into website - anyone start bidding at £1,000 ???? :rotfl:

    Whitewillow - I saw you mentioned briefly about also considering BMX gear with a target area in South Wales/ South West England. There's a new international BMX centre which has just had all planning etc approved in Torbay, Devon. This is still in the early stages and so i imagine there are loads of opportunites to shape the market. It is based on the seafront and will also be taking in the watersports market and skimboarding, sandboarding and skateboarding. Plus, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing...These also have customised equipment and might be an additional market. Of course you don't have to link in with this actual project, it might help to generate other ideas for you though. When you said south west, it was a lightbulb moment for me lol. You could offer courses in how to customise your helmet/ board/clothes/shinpads etc etc ...

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

    That's what i'm finding there is a market for. I am just about to see a small business owner who has a £20,000.00 debt outstanding to him that I know I can recover.

    There is definitely a market for this kind of service out there.

    this is precisely what I want to do. I could really use a bit of advice if you dont mind that is. Can you pm me, or maybe chat on msn if possible? really sorry to be a pain!!

  • Hi moneymakestheworldgoround, well considering I only listed 3 days ago, I have got lots of watchers and of the 16 items, 6 of them have bids totalling £11.52 so not bad! One of the items (a set of 3 canvas pictures) has 30 watchers already and has had 6 questions, so I am quite hopeful about that one!!
    Thanks for asking :0)

    Blimey-I get stuck with trying to sort out a problem with my pc last night, go out this morning, come on here to check in and what do I find?! The whole thread has partially dissolved!! I always miss the action!
    I am happy to dip into both threads cus I like Bing0s focus and I love the "drivel" too. Its a shame that people are feeling that the two cant mix but "it takes all sorts to make the world go round" (OMG- I am turning into my Mom!!).
    Think I have sorted out my pc probs (sorry Credit-crunch), now all I have to do is catch up with the backlog on here..................thats the next couple of hours sorted then!
    lovin' this site!

  • Does anyone have any experience of Greenmetropolis? I am ill in bed and keep looking up at my bookcase thinking while I am laying here I could be listing some books so it wouldn't be a complete waste of a day!
