Doesn´t anyone like my suggested name for the thread? Of course you do, who´d disagree with the boss hehe.
I´m feeling rather demotivated ... a bit out of sorts at the mo (nothing as serious as fibromyalgia) and concentration is suffering. Will post my summary in a bit, and then maybe (definitely) my posse will help me focus on what I need to do!0 -
Just seen your siggy Dilly - lol, you fence-sitter, you ...0

mambury - i make websites
lol
amber - i have fibro, its a pain in the butt, arms, legs, neck, shoulders (and wherever else it affects lol)
edit - dont forget everyone can use the facebook group (post 1, link 1) for advertising their blogs, ebay, ebid, folksy, etsy and everything else0 -
Hi Mambury :-) I had a phone call from the Journal yesterday regarding advertising in the bridal supplement- it's v v v expensive though, I'm skint, and I'm not sure just advertising locally is financially wise as my website is countrywide ( well worldwide I spose!). I wish I was as good at thinking of ideas as I am at finding reasons not to do other peoples!0

ok moneymabel, lets open this up and get some advice from people ( tell me to butt out if I am too pushy )
What exactly do you sell?
How long have you been doing it?
Where do you sell?
If a new thing, do you have all your suppliers and things in place?
Do you make items, or buy them in and resell?
Do you have any links with other companies?
Do you sell items in other physical shops?
Do you have an online presence?
Business cards/flyers/compliment slips/brochures etc....
Does your ebay name reflect the business name?
What have you tried so far and what has worked and what has failed?
Are we looking at budget ideas here or do you have some capital to play with?

moneymabel - my style can be a bit in your face, so I wont be offended if you tell me to naff off, or if you want to play your cards close to your chest. Not a problem.VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID

I think I am getting a little bit obsessed with this challenge!:rotfl:
easy to list but sales are a bit few and far between in my experience I average a book a month at £3!!! Have signed up to amazon and sold a few more much quicker but then you take a hit on fees...if the books are just gonna be there for months anyway you may as well put them on green metropolis but not likely to show a big return anytime soon. We have all been putting it on our facebook page etc to try and get more interest as it doesnt seem to be that well know yet, perhaps when it takes off big time our books will fly out!0
