wanted to reply on the wedding jewelery, i got married 7yrs ago now! but ebay would have been the last place i'd thought of for it. i went to good old argos

anyway if i had come across it while looking for say invites (something i would try ebay for) then i'd have been tempted if i saw something pretty.

have you tried a diff catergory? i know its naughty but i'd try invites.

deff try tiaras i wore one and it wasn't cheap! only made of some rubbish metal too.

i don't think jewelery is top of a brides priorities sp? the tiara deff is or those clips to hold the veil on?

i think what i am trying to say is they wont go looking for it needs to get seen for bride to say 'ooh that looks nice' impulse buy maybe?

    hths

ohh an idea special cravats (whatever they are) with some sort of pretty stone in?

Moneymabel, do I gather from previous posts you're in Devon? I know a photographer who's trying to set up a wedding fare in Bude, probably wouldn't be v expensive to be there. PM if you're interested, apologies if I'm barking up the wrong tree!

Hi everyone else, been helping out at a Haiti fundraiser this morning, raised £900! obviously this has nothing to do with this challenge but is fab so I thought I'd tell u all!!!

Bit slow here today, going to hunt round the charity shops again tomorrow and off to a big car boot on Sun (buying not selling). Need to list more stuff on ebay but haven't got time til next week. Still got 8 items on there. Registered with 3 MS companies now and pinecone (fingers crossed for that one, thanks truly) I feel I am building things up slowly but surely! Also going to do some posters advertising ebay selling services and put up locally.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Not managed much today, but I've bought the domain name for my business idea. Just need to create some samples to advertise now!
Also went out and got a few names for my Usborne mailing list, so something may come out of that. Also got to ring a nursery about holding a sponsored event, which should generate some sales.

nat nat.... well done on the fundraising. Its needed more there than here at the moment!

Mabel, if you got for the wedding fair, let me know if you need any help!! If I can I will! Start getting some flyers done for prom season, offer group discounts ie 5 friends buy together then they get 10% off the whole order ?!! Get them sent out to the school fairly soon and then follow up. You could even offer it as a fundraiser for the school, eg 10% of all orders donated to the PTA/charity of their choice??? I like the idea of using ebey as advertising. Contact beauty salons/hairdressers and offer then commission on sales...... get others to do the selling for you!

Forgot that I haven't been paid by amazon yet, checked my account and there is £80 there waiting for me!!! I shall get that in my account pretty sharpish so I can buy some stock for my business!!! Still need lots more though......

    off to do something houseworky!

Thanks Lindsey - when I got married ( now divorced) I bought my jewellery in Argos as well :-) cravat pins are a good idea- I did look into cufflinks but never thought of that- cheers !

Nat- yep I'm in Devon , quite a way from Bude though. When the photographers sorted the fair I can put something on my site for them if they want?
Well done on the fundraising as well that's fantastic!
