  • Ok, dresses have arrived, I was on the boohoo website and found that they are selling the exact same dresses that I have! I was tempted to take the photos and use them for my eBay listing, but I don’t think thats allowed is it?

Made another £50 last night on eBay, slowing making my way through my old clothes, should hopefully be de-cluttered by the end of next week, its London Fashion Week this week so I haven’t got much time to do much but at least I’m earning. I spent £175 on 3 bags last night eeek! 1’s for my sisters birthday and the other 2 I’m going to keep hold of for 3-6 months and then list them on eBay, they are limited edition ones, a similar one my bf got my for my birthday in oct for £80 has been sold on eBay for £200, £180 and £210 in the last week!! I wish I had bought a couple to sell on....

  • Hi guys, i'm going to give this a go. I was thinking of buying and selling on ebay, i want to specialise in one item, or one type of item. It will be something of quite low value as my first purchase will only be for around £80. I will need to buy wholesale and i want my item to be of good quality, it needs high demand meaning that it must be a consumable item which needs replaceing often. Does anybody have any suggestions on where i can buy wholesale products that are of a low value?

    Thanks, Briggzy

Hi briggzy, welcome to the thread. Have a look at the links on the first page, there's a few suggestions for wholesalers there.

This thread is closing as it's so long, so come and join us on the From Trash to Cash thread which is the continuation.

  • Hi all , I've been trying to work my way through this thread (only on page 90 at the mo). I'm amazed how well you are all doing. I will be following the thread although dont think I could make 10k realistically, I dont have much inspiration as to what I could do. However I will join in and see how well I do. One idea I have is to sell a bit on ebay. Wanted to ask the question, do people find when they sell on ebay, single items or bundles work best for baby clothes and maternity clothes? I have sold a few bits in the past (always 1 bit at a time), but the last time I put 8 items on there on ly 3 sold (and I had really low start prices as well) Just curious whether people would be put off by having several items in a bundle or whether this would be a better tactic as perhaps people think that it is better value. TIA
