Possibly a good idea in the short term to avoid engorgement. Have you tried starting her off on the right and then switching her after she's had a little bit so she's still hungry enough to feed but isn't very hungry and likely to be less reasonable? Obviously that wouldn't be a good idea to do routinely but might be worth trying just to see if you can get her back feeding on that side.Thanks, I tried the normal hold then rugby but she was so upset I gave up and put her on the right. I'll have to wait until she is hungry again and try a few other positions. She is otherwise fine but my breast is feeling hard so not sure if I should express?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Boo for naughty ebayers
Yay for new bunnies
I can see a bunny or a guinea pig in our future as Katie loves to visit them at our local pet shop accompanied with "me buy one, big now!"
She is very pleased with herself as she she has been allowed to use scissors for the first time today - Grandma found some safe ones.
Jenny - not ignoring you but you're getting some good advice already.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Evening all,
Whilst I was putting the baby down and giving him his bedtime BF I was contemplating our conversations about giving up...my mind wandered a bit and I thought that it would be good if Benjamin decided that he didn't enjoy BF any more to help me to stop...maybe if there was something that would make it taste nasty...
And so, without further ado, I would like to unveil my big, stopping weaning idea, it is a harmless liquid to paint on your boobies to make baby dislike feeding...and I have called it:
'NO MORE NIPPLES' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

You never know, you could become another of these mummy business women with a wonderful idea, like the skibz and sock-on ladies!
(It would have to be something that tastes bad, but doesn't sting though.... there are some places you don't want to put chilli
)
Izzy is much better today, and has an extra tooth, so maybe she wasn't ill after all. 5 teeth isn't very many for 13 months is it?!
