Seriously Claire, ask the ghost please to stop scaring your son. I'm not necessarily a believer, but from what I understand telling them to please be careful around the children does some good and it sounds like he's just trying to attract your attention rather than actually be scary IYSWIM.

Can't sleep, Molly's flat out but I'm just not able to stay sleeping. OH and I are totally wasting her sleep time with Deadliest Catch, the internet and work, although I'm tempted to take the afternoon off because I was working till gone 10pm last night.

Weezl, I can't remember if I said I was pleased you don't have any clots and astonished that you're already 34 weeks. Time goes SO FAST.

Hi ss, can we swap please!! T has been up and down like a yoyo tonite, only been getting an hours sleep at a time bar a slightly longer chunk when he first went down. I was persevering with putting him back in his cot each time but I'm gonna try him on my bed now and see if he sleeps till I have to get up!! Hope ur ok, sorry for waffle!! xx

I'm thinking a couple of hours of work is in order so I feel no guilt in taking a nap later.

Ahh thanks ss. Well he slept on bed for under an hour before crying again so just feeding him now. Let's hope he is just having a growth spurt or something!! Loving ur Idea of a nap later xx

I got DH to make the batter last night I'm doing 2 with lemon and sugar to start with, and if Izzy doesn't like them I will eat them both and do her one with jam or nutella or something instead. (If she does I will have to share and make another one anyway!)

That's shocking. I can understand that in some jobs (e.g. emergency services) people might have to go somewhere at very short notice but I can't see any reason why a bank sending you on a training course can't plan it in advance. :mad: :mad: :mad:

and speaking of things to do and Kester's imminent arrival, I think having exhausted all our cheaper birth pool options with less that 3 weeks to go til a homebirth could occur, I think I'll need to go with plan B.

Elle, is it your local mumsnet/netmums that you saw one for £120? I'd really love a linkie/phone/number or sommat if not! Also going to PM sarah joanne.

Erm, SJ or anyone else, I'm afraid I don't actually know SJs birth story because I've been avoiding birth stories for a bit after reading a horrendous one and scaring myself too much. So it may well be that it could be a bad idea to ask SJ for hers, in which case I am hugely sorry, but I think I'm going to go for it anyway?:)

Weezlie, baby Alfie turned back to back at the last minute so SJ went into the hospital instead of her planned HB. But they were both fine (forceps delivery but mum and baby home v quickly and all proceeding well).

Also, look. There are a few on ebay, I don't know where you are precisely to locate by postcode but this is on the slightly expensive side from the looks of it because it includes a postage rather than a collection option.
