Tara, what about using ipetitions or petitioning parliment to have the guidelines changed to offer all nursing mothers of in-patient babies meals?

You know you would get a couple hundred signatures from us all on here and our various other hang outs.

  • Hi all,

    Glad you are ok Weezl

Tara just waiting to hear back from my friend will let you know asap

Elle how is Rhys feeling now?

Loads more I was going to say but baby brain has got me..

    Update from me:
Had to put our stairgate up at the bottom of the stairs on friday as Reece is climbing them :D! He only turned 9 mths old yesterday !!!!!!! He managed a few steps without me realising until I heard bump bump bump...cry. Then the little bu*ger managed half the stairs with me behind him. Charlie was nearer a year before he climbed the stairs (and he won't go up now until you tell him he can-most of the time!)

I think Charlie is seeing our ghost. He's had uncontrollable screaming fits in the middle of the night before which took two hours to settle him again. Other occasions he's pointed to cupboards, outside the window, in the garden and said man to the point I've sent DH to check in the garden. Well on saturday morning (10am ish) he was hysterical for 30mins. He kept saying man with a bag, pointing to the top of the stairs then too the window. He didn't want me to close the stairgate and anytime I did he went crazy again. He wouldn't cuddle me and if I picked him up he kicked his legs about. I was sobbing as I didn't know what to do for him, called my mum and she said to record it on my mobile so I did. Only recorded for a minute but its harrowing to watch.

My Nan is still in hospital but they've decided to operate as it seems to be one or two larger tumors rather than lots spread about however her operation has been delayed from Fri to Sat to sometime this week. They are waiting for an intensive care bed for her before they operate in case she needs it. She still has the DNR on her records so if things go bad in theatre they won't need the bed anyway. However she complained to my Dad that she's been put in a old peoples ward and they are all boring - Dad had to point out to her thats she is 85 now and probably got a good decade on some of them! :rotfl:

  • Evening

    Yay for Weezl being discharged.

Tara - I've just e-mail Pals at my local hospital to see what their policy is.

    I'd definitely sign a petition.

No news here except DH was home 2 hours early from work.

Oh I've seen a job I like the look of about a 20 minute walk from home, I just need to fill the bit in where you have to say why they should give you a job, I hate that bit I'm really bad at it.
