workinmummy - fingers crossed she realises it was just a mistake and you are not a timewaster.

She just text me back. And everything is ok, I can collect on Wednesday morning, when i have another day off. Well Childminder has gone on holiday, and its half term, so what can you do?

Infact MFD I think it was you that suggested Netmums in the first place. So many thanks for the nudge in that direction.

maz are you eating enough? i found when i was run down and tired not eating reduced my milk, lots of chocolate on top of a healthy diet and they were putting on weight. just an idea???

my sister has phoned she had LO at another hosp app and he has only put on 200g in 2 months! i wish they would just look into this and find out whats wrong?

i thought i was eating enough. always have breakfast, lunch & tea, (and they're reasonable-sized, fairly healthy meals) plus snacks in between. and haven't been expending too much energy cos staying in more while its cold amyway. gonna try more snacking between meals for next couple few days.

    Afternoon all..

We have a new american physio. Seems nice enough. Still not too bothered about the reluctance to sit or roll over (pah!). Gave us some exercises to do - stuff I already do without having been told - and sent on our merry way for two months

Then went to work. Had chocolate cake, cuppa and chat. Lots of ladies came over to coo at Rhys. One very ignorant manager didn't even say hi to me or even glance at Rhys  Good job I'm not going back to a role where I have to do him any favours! Feel really miffed he didn't even acknowledge me considering I haven't seen him for nine months :(

Now have come home specifically in time for FIL coming round and then he txt to say he's not coming and he'll come on Wednesday instead. No he won't - we have plans. Not organising myself around the inlaws who can only be bothered with Rhys every few months!

    At myself.

Looks like i have upset the lady from net-mums i was going to buy a Jumperoo from. We were trying to arrange for me to collect this weekend, I don't usually get on the laptop at weekends, so gave her my mobile no. to send me her address, only I typed in too many numbers :o.

I have only just thought to check messages on net-mums and she had sent her mobile no. and address details on Friday night.

Have sent v. apologetic text. She only wanted £30 too. (Obviously I have not seen the condition though) And collecting it would take me right past Middle-brook retail park,(Bolton) where i could divert to for some retail therapy of my own and a Starbucks coffee. Sigh, hope she isn't too upset and responds as she has already re-listed it.

Was far too busy being in a huff with OH and checking up on my Ebay sales. Stupid thing is I wanted to buy a Jumperoo or similar with the proceeds.
darn it, I see I'm too late to 'steal' the bargain jumparoo ;) although MB will probably be over run on wednesday because it's half term  if you pass me on the way give us a wave:)

    hi all,
    ....
Plus health visitor came this morning to weigh Evie and she's 8lb 15oz. so only put another 5.5oz on in last 2 weeks. and only 1lb 2oz since she was born (7 weeks now). she seems to eat a lot and bf always been fine so not sure why. she's alert and generally fine and has plenty of wet and dirty nappies but if she goes down again on the percentile chart when she's weighed again next friday, she's going to have to start having some formula feeds :(
has she actually dropped centiles? tbh I personally wouldn't worry if she is happy, some children are small and some are big it's just natural variation :) only the other day, I think it was squishy posted that her lil girl who's 4mth old weighs more than my Edgar who's 8mths

Ladies of Mse, your help is needed. I need a list of hospitals that feed BF Mums whilst they stay on the ward or visit their children. PALs at St. Micheals have challenged me to see if their policy is correct!!!
Any hospitals you have been in and you are sure do this please tell me so I can email them as many as possible, and if you belong to any other forums please can you ask there?

Tara, I'll send an email on the radical midwives group that should cover a lot of hospitals :D

Will :wave:in your general direction. Not been to MB for ages. Most probably get lost in Boots buying essentials like nappies and milk.

Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby do :D And I think Jessops Wing at Sheffield Hospital do too (where Rhys' room buddy was born and stayed for the first six weeks). And I don't think DPOW is even an official "BFing friendly" hospital yet - there was a meeting just talking about working towards it a while ago for peer supporters.

ETA: Info for parents staying in which mentions meals for BFing/expressing mums - http://www.nlg.nhs.uk/IfP/single/IFP-0474.pdf

Glam said their hospital provided meals for her when Jack had to go back in for a few days too :)
