BM - what about some soups? They can be very MSE and and you only need small bits of meat to satisfy OH. Serves with some lovely crusty bread, some can make a very filling meal. Most of the ones I do are vegetarian, but there's tons of options that have meat and can be a really good way to doing leftovers!

Receipts get put in the bin :o

In all honesty Susan, it's probably well over £400  Which is just astronomical really, my storecupboard is bulging with pasta, cans of toms, jars of sauce, cous cous etc. I buy it all in then don't know how to use it in a meal!

Aless - We do love soups and one a week would be great but I've no idea how to make a soup really. Well I can make 2 soups

1 is - Butternutsquash, carrots, onion, sweet potatoes, maybe a few spuds + some stock. That's nice

2 - Leeks, onions, carrots, potatoes, turnip. That's nice also

I REALLY like lentil soup but no clue which lentils I need! I ordered orange lentils on a Tesco shop and they gave me green split peas! I dunno what to do with them either :rotfl:

    Thinking of something like this:

    Soup night
    Jacket Spud night
    Pasta night
    Fish night
    Mince night?
Takeaway night (Make a nice curry with teh sides etc)
    Roast day?

Something like that. I have cookbooks but then I never cook anything new and I don't know why! I'm clearly mental.

You and Weezl would have a field day in my cupboards, you could probably live off it for 2months :rotfl:

That's wonderful Becles, that you're not with the nasty women, that your group respects your undoubtedly awesome abilities, and that your DH is doing something to support you.

i know people who quite openly talk about waht drugs they have done. quite sad really.

personally, had a space cake in amsterdam, me and DH ended up walking in a circle and didnt speak to each other for over an hour. went to kfc for food- but DH has no recollection of that. quite scary that and i would not try it again.

I tested a few minor substances when I was younger and more chaotic, but don't like hallucinating and weed will just make me talk crap for HOURS so I have chosen not to bother any more. I don't even like drinking more than two or three, as soon as I start to feel a bit buzzed I stop altogether.

 and double  at Mr Aless's workplace. I'd call the police on them too.

BM, when OH was in the hospital I found it almost impossible to manage the supermarket and the baby - carrying heavy bags was a big fat sack of NO. I'd make a list of ingredients that I thought would go well together and stick it and recipe in Google. Magic!

I think there was a cat litter Grabbit recently - maybe check?

Edit: Split peas can be soup too, you can also add bacon, nomnomnom.

Just putting all the DVD's on it now. Jack is still asleep put him down about an hour and 20mins ago. Need him to wake up so I can go out.

I'm with you on that Jillie. Doctor told me that the antibiotics she gave Alex could cause diarrhea. Lovely especially during the night. And loads of nappies used.
