  • I've caught up on a few pages now.

Hoorah for poo Tara :) And Huggles to MM and Beccles, and everyone else who needs them.
Congrats Ladybird- is it the chocolate one?!

No, this one is at the city council. About same money as I'm on (per hour) now, doing a customer service type job, working about 10 mins walk from nursery. Need to think of some sensible questions to ask them at the interview now. I always look rubbish because I can't think of any questions to ask at the end!

Izzy was very clingy at nursery today. I think she might have been hungry. I have told some of them to try her on food when she is grumpy, but not any of the girls who were in today. (they are short staffed, so keep having temps in... mostly they manage to keep the same temps, so you see the same faces, but it is hard to make sure they all know things) She had a mega cry on the way home too, hungry and cold too by that point I think. Poor baby :(

Calmed down quite quickly though, with the help of mummy milk, biccies, and a maka-paka glove puppet :)

  • :hello:Hi Helen, how have you been getting on? Saw a post from you earlier about your dad. You OK? Know you were worried about him on the pg thread.

Ewwww to woman in Ikea :(

We left T crying tonight as people were telling me today that I shouldn't still be cuddling/shushing/etc her to sleep every night that she should be settling herself. And funnily enough she just suddenly stopped crying! Weird. But good :D

Also got some cold stuff from the chemist today - you drip it on a hankerchief (muslin) and leave it in the room out of her reach to halp decongest so am hoping for a better night sleep tonight. Not sure I can cope any longer with 1 or 2 hour stints. just feel soooo tired :(

Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early) :D

((hugs)) Becles (although I'm probably the last person you want hugs from.) I know you probably don't believe me but I do understand how you are feeling, and it isn't nice at all, it consumes your every thought and makes you feel sick but empty at the same time. I hope you can either persuade him or find a way to cope with the situation yourself xx

Sorry job hunting didn't go too well sm:( hopefully something will turn up for you (both)

Bruno - Happy anniversary...is this you 'real' or 'fake' wedding anniversary?

3 - Sorry misunderstanding, I thought you meant warrington was on Friday in the holidays! I think the kids finish on Friday at 2pm plus I had arranged to go pram shopping this friday.....If the school closes normal time and I can re-arrange pram shopping for tomorrow then I might still make it though....

And that brings me nicely on to my question.....Does anyone have a subscription to Which? I am trying to get some reviews and would love to see if there is anything on there.

    Mel x

hello ladies its been a nightmare here today, trying to talk things through with him and we were talking, he said he needed help and to speak to someone(i cant as i get too angry and emotional) i managed to get him app at GP and went with him. Doctor was not interested at all and sent him packing, now he is more down than ever before and i feel awful as i pushed him to go. i really dont know what to do? i have CPN coming tom so am going to ask her if she will talk to him or if she can get him a referal but other than that im stuck, have never met such an unhelpful doctor in my life(different surgery from me)
On top of it all something is up with the babies, Erin has cried most of the day and nothing would settle her apart from her bottle and bed and Charlie has had a temp and been either really quite or major screaming. i think an early night is in order!

Karen - don't listen to what other people say. I was cuddling J to sleep until not so long ago! Glad it worked though. I think Tia said that Amber likes to cry herself to sleep.

When I was a bit snuffly, I put a tissue with Olbas Oil under my pillow. It seemed to clear J's nose and he was on the floor in the Mosey!

Hope you get some sleep tonight!

Wish OH would get up if it was around 6am (he gets up at 6.30am anyway) but no chance!
