Tara - that's me I don't even wake up now she just climbs into bed with us and snuggles down.
The best cuddle of the day though is the one I get when I walk in the door after work.
She also likes to do the movie hug (running towards me arms out!)Proud to be dealing with my debts

If I was comfortable with it tara, that would be the ideal solution, but even at Jasmines size, I'm scared of sleeping with a child incase I roll onto them or something stupid, never mind one as ickle as Dylan !! Irational I know, but I have always been like that, if Jas needs to come into me (which is rarely), then Chris sleeps on the sofa or her bed so I am not right up beside herThe two best things I have done with my life

Caz, sometimes just writing it down, then re-reading it helps you sort it in your head. Sound to me like you're taking the world on your shoulders, so who are you leaning on hun???Too many children, too little time!!!0

MDW, I am totally selfish and love sleeping with them, I had Ben with me when I got home Monday. I don't put Maddy down in case OH rolls on her, she still sleeps with her head in my arms.Too many children, too little time!!!0

You are going to exhaust yourself if you are doing all of them hun !

If I don't laugh I might cry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's worse on a Friday and Saturday night because he know he doesn't have to get up early!Glam - I have to say I was a bit annoyed and felt a bit outnumbered by them all saying they don't get up and take an hour getting their LOs back to sleep (which is what has been happening over the last week) - there were 3 of them saying they leave their babies cry themselves to sleep/settle themselves.
Normally I don't pay that much attention but thought it would be nice to be able to leave her settle herself and thought I'd give it a go. Will have to see how often T wakes tonight -hopefully she will go back to once and go straight back to sleep..... *pig flying over* but ever the optimist
I think there should be a point where they can get themselves off to sleep so that you can pop them down and get your evenings back. Especially when you go back to work! It also means they don't rely on it when they wake in the middle of the night.
When J was newborn I would cuddle him all night to get him off to sleep - he'd lie on my chest asleep and is the only way he'll sleep now if he's uspet/overtired/poorly. I think he's only really been settling himself the last few weeks and even now he sometimes needs a pat on the back or a rub before he'll drop off properly.
Sometimes I bring him into our bed if he wakes up in the night and I let him sleep on my chest - he loves to snuggle up and OH rolls over and strokes his feet. I do worry though because I leave his sleeping bag on and he has the duvet over him but he seems to love it.
Caz - I really would suggest getting a second opinion, I get so :mad: at GP's who are so dismissiveA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0
