thanks ladies it really means a lot to me!!! *blubbering like a baby!*
feel ridiculous that i dont have any *real* friends, i know people and talk to them in the street etc but thats it?
What's for you won't go past you
  • Glam, I would be very tempted to put him in bed with OH when he wakes and go lay on the sofa so he had no choice but to deal with him !!!
Or do what i done when OH peeved me of yesterday morning, He lied and said he was feeding aid till the early hrs amazing since i had to feed him when he brought him into our room, so i took kids to school and then went to help my dad, He was well chuffed when i got back as Aiden had filled his nappy twice and wanted fed and had refused to settle for him lol

don't think he will be in such a rush to make out aiden had him up when he was actually up chatting on the comp!!!

CAZ i've no idea of the history of your situation i can only read between the lines but perhaps as you said get him to go to your GP usually, when you transfer you get a health check and they ask questions about general health care and any concerns. I'm one of those people that has a problem with GP's as i feel they are like revolving doors and if they could get away with not having a chair in their rooms they would:mad::mad:

I love taking the kids into bed with me and i still share with them and let them, in fact DD is in my bed now lol but only because my neighbors are out and their daughter is having a little party to herself!!!
Hugs to those i have missed replying too,

I wonder how people used to manage when there weren't these forums? I wouldn't have coped throughout my pregnancy or these first weeks of Tegan's life very well without everyone on here:beer:

Can you come and live near me Caz? :D

My Mum keeps ring about DD, I can't even bring myself to speak to her!

Sami, where do you get those cool smilies?
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • AF - have you tried being a mean Mummy, and not feeding her every time she wakes? (I know we were talking about this last week about her not eating much and whatnot.) I found when I stuck to my guns with Izzy she started to eat better in the day, and gave up (normally) waking in the night. She still does occasionally, but it is only once, and not every night. You feel really mean the first time, but I found with Izzy that it was easier than I expected, because I knew it was just temper rather than anything really being wrong iyswim.

I know Izzy was a bit bigger when I tried it, so that might make a difference to you, and make this not your first option, but it sounds like you need to change something and see if it makes a difference for your sake as much as hers. :) You will end up falling asleep at your des at this rate!

  • Oh MDW - I was thinking of your sig this morning --- with Izzy close to walking I'm coming close to being a TFW ... not a TTFW for another year or so I expect though!

On the subject of toilet training though - my mum keeps saying about trying her on the potty... not properly toilet training as such, but starting to get her used to it. Those of you who have done that bit - what do you think? That is a whole new kettle of fish I've not even begun to think about yet.

Lady - welcome to the club (thank you for remembering my code)

Toilet Training - what I did with Katie was I just brought the potty into the living room and it was just there, if she was having nappy free time I'd sit her on it but not expect anything - she was about 18 months.

Anyway one day during nappy free time she sat herself on it and did a wee - cue lots of :j:j:j:T:T:T and she just went from there and was dry and clean during the day by the time she was 2, she's dry at night now as long as she does a dream wee when I go up to bed.

As she still wasn't really talking at this point we created a sign as well - she patted her bum when she wanted the loo.
