Ok. DD was given the bit that goes on her b00b and a tube comes of that, the milk goes down that tube into the bottle they have given her, why is she not supposed to sterilise the b00b bit and tube the milk runs down? Pump is Ameda!

That sounds similar to mine in the hospital tara, but ours were disposable horns, so it was never steralised as the bit of the pump that was there never had milk near it

thats what I do now but it's not very sexy is it:p I think it would be a bit better if the pads didn't crackle when touched :rotfl: oh well you never know Ed might have stopped feeding in time for us to enjoy ttc'ing #3 My poor hubby, fingers crossed I don't go off 'it' in my 3rd pg like I did in my 2nd!

OH says he's going for the snip, but has also talked about #3 almost as much, my plan is if he hasn't agreed to #3 by the time I'd like to ttc I'll do what Mel did and say contraception is up to you.

I can only guess that they can't be sterilised because of what they are made from but I'm not sure how comfortable (and I'm sensing you feel the same) using them for milk to feed my vulnerable prem baby :undecided
does she have to share the horns n tube or are they 'hers'?

On the subject of friends barring my oldest friend (I've known her since we were 3) but as she's not a mummy and now into completly different things to me (so we don't talk often) I only have you guys. I even tried meeting 2 local mums we met once and never again? I've tried contacting them but they've never returned my messages, must be something wrong with me :eek:

Today was crap, was listening in to phonecalls and it was that slow and quiet I nearly fell asleep :eek: plus I forgot my purse so couldn't get a coffee or anything to eat, luckily I'd made myself a sarnie for dinner and took some clementines in otherwise I'd've been starving.

Daniel spent today with his daddy as MIL is ill, apparently they had a great time playing. He ate all his food and drank all his milk and had two good long naps too. Just perfect DH said Just wish I'd been there to enjoy it too.

Am off to the theatre tomorrow evening to see Calendar Girls but I won't see my baby as I'm going straight to my parents from work, no way I'd get home, and then to my parents in time. Oh and DH has ordered us tickets to see John Bishop in December (yay :j)

And look how well he did Sami:p Kai was only about 6mths when we concieved and given we hadnt dtd for the first 6-8wks he wasn't very good at his 'job' Hopefully your dh will be just as 'good';)

I am debating the non-hormonal coil.....at least in 2-4yrs time we can decide properly if we are going to have anymore and if not then I will [STRIKE]force [/STRIKE]encourage him to get snipped:o
