But this means that the ironing he was supposed to do for me today, won't get done. Because he "will have had Alex" all day. And we all know that you can't possibly do anything else other than look after a baby (insert "rolls-eyes thingy).

Must retract nasty post about OH yesterday. Got home and he was "Ironing". :T Not done it all, but made a consertive effort, whilst looking after Alex. So In good book.

3onitsway :):) to not speaking to your OH. Thats me the majority of the time. I can keep going for weeks. He is the one who usually caves.

Bruno, :T for your ranty post about lazy men.

and finally sympathy.jpg(stolen from weezl) for poorley weezl and feeling yesterday. And for Em with the not so good childminder.

Off to do some work at work and catch up in between.

SS - Hope you all feel better soon. There is definitely a lot of bugs going around at the moment. And don't worry too much about missing out on meets (if you had met Csh yesterday, you wouldn't be so keen). That was joke btw!

Sparkle - hope Lexi feels better soon. Sorry, I meant to say that earlier. And the other day! Sorry. xx

Thanks very much. You can go off people and their bully daughters you know

I got excited when I read this but you're next 2 posts confused me lol Am I getting it again or what???

sorry sweetie! I'll try again but clearer: If you've had HG in your last PG you have a 15% chance of getting it again. If one's next baby is with a different father, the risk reduces to 10.8%

    Is that any better?

You'll have to let me know if it's any good? I'm watching Dollhouse :D
Is that any good? I'm always seeing the adverts and wondering but never actually watched it.

Another 5am bath here :( I'm so sick and tired of runny baby poo!!!!! He did eat a whole weetabix this morning followed by two fromage frais so I'm hoping he should start to solidify soon... please?

My boss rang to ask what hours I can do Thursday, and said she's put me down for unpaid for yesterday and will put me down for overtime on Thursday - WHY? That means I've now lost 25% off this months bonus as well as last month, and in total £100 off my yearly £250 sickness bonus, at this rate I may as well write the whole thing off! Seth's poop is very expensive at the moment :(

Susan- is there a chance that the HG might just not happen with another pregnancy or is it very likely that it will? Were you Ill for the whole nine months?
I'm not sure of the figures but you are more likely to have it if you have had it in the past. (Presumably it depends on the cause in your particular case as there are a number of possible causes and it is mostly unexplained.) I was first actually sick at three weeks pregnant and last sick at 37 weeks (Alice was born at 39). Longest gap between throwing up was two weeks. I was so ill that for a number of weeks, OH used to come home every lunchtime to give me lunch and replenish the drinks next to my chair. After that, he used to leave my lunch ready in the fridge for me. He also had to help me get dressed and wash my hair for me plus do everything which I usually did i.e. cooking cleaning etc. I was more or less unable to leave the house without him although later on I did manage to walk to some of my antenatal appoinments (three minutes walk away) by myself but usually he had to take time off work to drive me there. At its worst I lost a stone in less than a week (which took my BMI from 20 to just over 18) and the doctor who admitted me said, "Why didn't you come sooner?" (Which I would have done but stupid out of hours doctor didn't take me seriously.)

Sorry - that wasn't meant to be so long.

Basically it was pretty bad and I want to minimise the chances of it happening again and if it does occur, minimise its impact especially given that I was unable to look after myself and I would have Alice to look after.

Susan - yeah I do ACV rinses sometimes as they get my hair quite clean, but I find ACV actually quite expensive to use too often! :p
I actually used kombucha vinegar from when I over brewed my kombucha as arguably it didn't cost me anything.

we're all snotty and sick :( and I'm terribly jealous that you all get to do real life meetups and I have to live in Germany. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Maybe that's why Alice keeps telling me she needs to go to Germany.

15% isn't bad. Good to know I'm more likely not to have it. I really hate being pregnant but its a means to an end I suppose.

I wonder if the same statistics apply to severe morning sickness as opposed to HG. I felt terribly sick and had to take medication, but don't think that I had 'real' HG.
