Morning all,
quiet here today! I didn't get a chance to catch up on everything as there were so many pages from when my internet was down, so just will pass *hugs* out to anyone who would like one
I hope everyone who is at the meet enjoys it - I'm not jealous (much!) so am consoling myself with a tub of pralines and cream icecream - at 11am - I'm bad
Took Elena to get weighed last week and she is now 17lbs 1oz! Can't believe how fast she is growing. She is also tired and refusing to go for a nap just nowWe're hopefully going to the library tomorrow for rhyme time, and meeting up with the girls from ante-natal group for lunch on thursday. I hope the snow has gone by then!

15% isn't bad. Good to know I'm more likely not to have it. I really hate being pregnant but its a means to an end I suppose.
Who are theses women that bloom? I hate them lol
I hate them too!
Susan's spending some time today working out what she can do to reduce her risk of HG still further, maybe some of that will be useful for you with no. 3? xxx

I had severve morning sickness in first pregnancy but only til 12 wks. Second time round was HG right up to 22wks then just pregnancy sickness til baby came.
Hmmm, going by that regardless of statistics its not looking good for me :eek:0 -

In this study, the cut off for 'real' HG was weight loss of 5% or more due to nausea and vomiting. Sometimes there was also ketosis (ketones in the urine)
Hello Feelie, how was your TLC time with OH?

I had hypermesis or whatever it's called, I spent half my life puking, the weight I lost was gained plus more when I was able to eat again about 7months.
I was in ketosis with it though, my pee was forever protein rich.
Quiet in here today. Keira has her school photos today
I should really go to the gym today but I have a bit of an erm, dodgy stomach and I don't think it's a good idea to exert that area of my body as things might move, which I don't want too.....
Go tomorrow, promise!! I'll come home and do the dishes instead0 -

Just realised I forgot to mention the excessive tiredness (sleeping 15 hrs/day but sitll exhausted) and the excessive thirst (drinking 3-4 litres per day and still constantly thirsty).

Had a nice evening, thanks Weezl! And thanks for the info, don't think I count then. I was on really strong (and unsafe in pregnancy) medication for the first 12 weeks, so wasn't sick then. Didn't gain any weight between 12 and 30 weeks (IIRC) then gained about 2 stone - all of which was water, and lost immediately after delivery. I don't know if I ever had a urine that came back clear. One time I got a congrats because it came back positive with everything! (Keytones, protein, glucose, white cells and perhaps something else?).
The Outreach ladies came, and I explained the situation. They said to make sure I don't get too high, and that they'll call me when the group starts, and I can see how I feel at the time, if I think I need it.
Off to clinic after lunch, then Nanny is here.
Talking of which, I told my Mum how good I am and she asked if I was pregnant again! That was the last time I felt like this :-D I'd be at least 12 weeks now, so perhaps I'll do one final test.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Morning all,Yeah it's on Mondays, and i didn't go
I took Amber to be weighed on Friday, hoping it'd make me see that it's not scary. But instead i was ignored even though i was all smiley and saying hello, and a group of bints had took over the sensory room and looked at me like i was an alien when i walked in with Amber for a look. Even the HV was too busy talking to the group of chavs to acknowledge me and i'd say i looked quite shy-ish so i'd have thought they'd try and talk since i was on my own. Meh, anyway it's just made me not want to go all the more. My confidence is under the patio, must dig it out one day.
.
Beenie I hate going to groups, I have no confidence at all (I think they removed the last of it during labour!) and Im completely antisocial. But, we went to baby massage last week and loved it, maybe because their's a structure to the group as your following the group leader so not having to chat straight away then at the end they encouraged us to stay in the room and feed babies as the massage makes them very thirsty so thats when we all got chatting. I hate my booby group as its so cliquey, last time I went two women sat either side of me on the sofa, said hi then proceeded to talk over the top of me pretending I wasnt there
I'm under the weather, grumpy, and flip manically between high octane uber-nesting and sad pathetic little girl whispers of I can't do it, don't wanna do labour, can't cope blah, blah..... All very normal and 8 weeks to go ish(she says hoping this is true and the others don't now think I'm mental!)
xxx
Weezl it sounds completely normal to meOH regularly found me mumbling to myself from 30 + weeks 'I can't do it, how will I cope with labour, I can't be a mum!'
Why does William like sleeping on his side so much more than his back!! I know he cant sleep like that at night so its a bit annoying....
Isla like's sleeping on her side too, and every time I move her onto her back she whimpers until she's back on her side.
Hope all the ladies have a fab meet at TC today
