Have a lovely time at the TC, everyone! Group picture please
Blimey you can tell who the talkers are on here cant you - only 3 pages to catch up on since last night!!!!:p;):rotfl:
In the end last night I did a sleep feed (:doh:forgot about these) about 11.30 and he slept till 2.30 then awake at 6.30
Why does William like sleeping on his side so much more than his back!! I know he cant sleep like that at night so its a bit annoying....
Thanks Susan re names- I know they are the old fashined ones so guess they will appear moreMum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Gosh, very quiet here today with everyone else meeting. Shame I live in Surrey...
Mega grump baby here - no sleep last night, except with us, hence ma and pa being squished to each end of the bed. Thanks baby. Wouldn't nap today either, and just found the cause - 3rd tooth - why does this have to happen on my one day off!!
Will try and go to our music class this in a mo but not sure how she'll cope with no sleep, and then lunch with a new tooth. Nice day I've got ahead, and husband will be back late. grrr.
Sorry for self indulgent rant! Hope everyone else is more cheerful than me.0 -
SS - that was the very short version of the process, I can tell you more later if you're interested
ooo, Maz I didn't forget about you in my London post - I wasn't sure what station the trains from where you live get into (prolly Liverpool St, eh?). I'm sure we can all work something out that's mutually convenient!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Dribblekitten- don't know where in Surrey you are, but we're having a meet in Basingstoke on Friday if you fancy it?
Beenie- I wouldn't worry about not hosting a group- not evryone had to! How about finding a baby massage class, then all the babies would be similar ages. I found baby clinic to be the least good place to meet people to be honest- not sure why but no-one was very chatty!
I hope my photobox collages come today!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Wow weezl 8wks!! I think you are perfectly normal btw, and I am not really blooming or manky... tbh I don't really feel pregnant, apart from the lack of stamina?
Sleds you caught my attention with the curly(frizzy) hair comment... I have very curly hair and mostly straighten it but am currently growing it as I do quite like the option of wearing it curly, although it has to be long to look any good curly IMO. What was the 'routine' water and bi-carb( same as u put incakes??) anything else with that?
Dh is off to uni in a mo, he has been asking me consantly if I am ok!! Only cos he knows I am p!ssed off about not going tc meet!!!
Mel xUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
SS - Hope you all feel better soon. There is definitely a lot of bugs going around at the moment. And don't worry too much about missing out on meets (if you had met Csh yesterday, you wouldn't be so keen). That was joke btw!
Beenie - I don't think the weigh in at the Baby Clinic is the best place to meet people as it isn't a proper group. I have spoken to people on a couple of occasions, and on other occasions not spoken to anyone. It would be nice if others made the effort to make you more welcome, but don't use it as an indication of other groups. You should GO TO BOOBIE GROUP NEXT MONDAY and give it a try. I will kick you up the butt on Sunday night, ok?
Sparkle - hope Lexi feels better soon. Sorry, I meant to say that earlier. And the other day! Sorry. xx0 -

Dont worry aless - only joking - Fenchurch Street is actually nearest so can get almost anywhere really:oMum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Sorry long-winded hair post that you're probably not even interested in!
no I was! And better a long-winded post about hair, than a long-haired post about wind. :rotfl:
kitten sorry about bad night's sleep
Maz from when is it ok for him to sleep on side if he likes it better?

Hi I'm near Woking, so could probably get to Basingstoke if it wasn't for pesky work. Will be finished with work at easter so maybe after then - would be lovely to meet people I read about online (but don't talk to very often!) Sorry if I sound like a stalker. Other thing I meant to say - I have somewhere an Antilop inflatable cushion I could try and find and post if it would be of use. We didn't use it for very long (2-3 weeks) but if you have a real dink it could be useful.0 -
morning GISI :hello:
I'm not susan, but there's a 16% chance that a woman having HG in a first PG will have it again, or 10.5% if with a different partner. I'm sure Susan will most definitely not be using a change of paternity to reduce her risk factor though(sorry, silly joke!)
Gap between pregnancies also changes the likelihood of recurrance.
HTH,
Weezl x
I got excited when I read this but you're next 2 posts confused me lol Am I getting it again or what???
Had Hyperemesis from 6 wks on the dot. 3 mths off work and twice in the hospital for rehydration. Not looking forward to having it againBeing sick all over the Gyle carpark was not one of my finer moments
The NCT groups look even scarier cos i'd feel like i'd need to offer to hold one in my house and it's a scruffy council house lol.
It wasn't even a group that was on properly i don't think, they were all just waiting to be weighed. It wouldn't have been so bad if the HV had bothered to speak to me and maybe introduce me they must realise it's intimidating for us newbies. Also the other kids were at walking stage so i guess there'd be more to break the ice with, with the kids interacting, but Amber is so new that i have to do it myself lol.
Oh btw Amber weighs 10lb 4oz now
Try going to the weighing at different times. Ours is on 10-11.30am. If you go at 10 you've no chance of speaking to anyone cos its mobbed. Nearer closing time its more relaxed and the HV's have more time to talk.
Do you have any HV led M&B groups?0
