It's bicarbonate of soda and water. All the recipes I found reckoned you should use 1 tbsp bicarbonate of soda to 1 cup of water each time you wash your hair but I found that was too strong and made my hair too dry so I do 1 tsp to a cup and put it in an old shampoo bottle. It will last me about ten washes (for almost waist length but quite thin hair) or OH too many to keep track of. You can also rinse with apple cider vinegar but I found that doing that made my hair ridiculously greasy so I don't. If you google "no poo baking soda" you'll be able to find loads more information.

So it's a bit more expensive than very cheapy shampoo, but presumably much greener and less scary chemical-wise?

Becles hope the plumber is eficient clean and tidy and on time :) oh and no leaks!

Mel, that's a shame about DH and the skintness. We're here if you want to talk :)

    Morning Bruno and Jillie :D

    Morning People,

Sorry not read back and Im not staying this morning just came on looking for Glam. Didnt want to text her just yet thought it might be a bit too early!

Glam sorry I didnt text you back last night I was asleep and when I woke up thought it might be a bit late!
Lexi still really poorly and has somehow flip reversed her sleeping pattern  so Im catching some zzzz when I can ie when OH is home to take over!:(

Had everything sorted to come today but I cant bring my madam like this .... Doctors say its a 'cold' - possible viral infection. But she is really ill with it wheezing and struggling for breath when sleeping so being the paranoid freak that I am Im sat next to her cot just watching over her and Im pooped.

Hope you all have a good time and hopefully nothing gets in the way of me getting to the next one!

Hope everyone else is well be back soon to catch up properly
    luv to all xxx

My baby boy is crying every time I put something in his mouth :( even his completely-out-of-season strawberries are inducing moans and groans. Poor baby boy, methinks that tooth number 3 is imminent.

See you all later, some in real life :T others in t'internet life :D

did any of those possibilities in my mammoth post give any starting points susan?:)
Yes - I'm looking at liver function at the moment as it appears to be statistically most likely. I've found loads of recent articles here. (I actually have a print out of that post you did on the computer desk right in front of me.)

I've never looked at really cheap stuff as I have enough skin trouble as it is so wouldn't consider them but you're probably right and yes to the second two. I also find my hair is in better condition when I use it. ( at having to use prescription shampoo.)
