I just found an article about assessing the impact of hyperemesis in pregnancy. They asses the physical impact using the "Pregnancy Unique Quantification of Emesis--PUQE score". :rotfl:

Beenie - nice to see you back again. Was thinking about you and saw you had posted this morning but didn't have time to say hello. Was it today you were going to go to Boobie Group and did you manage to go?

    Yeah it's on Mondays, and i didn't go :o

I took Amber to be weighed on Friday, hoping it'd make me see that it's not scary. But instead i was ignored even though i was all smiley and saying hello, and a group of bints had took over the sensory room and looked at me like i was an alien when i walked in with Amber for a look. Even the HV was too busy talking to the group of chavs to acknowledge me and i'd say i looked quite shy-ish so i'd have thought they'd try and talk since i was on my own. Meh, anyway it's just made me not want to go all the more. My confidence is under the patio, must dig it out one day.

Hiya to those popping in...JAM, jha, Beenie (Beenie, how's Amber? I know she'd been sleeping a bit longer for you - is she still doing that? We had a terrible few nights last week but last night was a lot better so I hope we've turned the corner)

Maybe Finn and Amber are tag teaming us! Amber had a few good nights, then on sun night she woke up about 4 times, and didn't sleep ALL DAY!! yesterday, she was all wide-eyed even when in the pram and car. V strange. So i was expecting great things last night, she did 1am - 7am so not too bad but from 5pm-1am i wanted to stab myself in the eyeball.

Hope everyone has a good time at the meet today.

It's snowing here again and lying on the ground.
I have been up sick during the night but hoping it's not going to get worse. Just having a lazy day today in the house - housework and playing with H I think.

Aww Beenie. I wish you stayed nearer us. We would have liked you to come to our wee mini meet yesterday. It is difficult going along to these things on your own, but please keep trying. It won't necessarily be the same next time. Please try to push yoursef to go and talk to people. I am naturally shy, but I have made a conscious effort to push myself over the years to appear more confident!

    Hi weezl

I would love to chat, it is just awkward on th iPhone! It doesn't let me spell words correctly and having to scroll in and out all the time invariably means opening pages I don't want open.... Trying to shut said pages often results in a frozen phone for (most likely a minute or two) aaaaages;)

I really feel like selling that stoopid motorbike from under dh's nose, as that is what has cost a fortune!! In one month, we have spent £900 on the bike and related items grrrrrr, which means I don't even have a tenner spare

Anyway enough of my rantings... How are you? How many weeks do you have left till new baby arrives?

    Mel x

Fitzio you can't say 'housework' and 'lazy' in the same sentence. It's a great achievement for me if i get all the washing up done :rotfl:

Lazy is sat on the laptop, but then i tell myself i'm 'socialising' or learning :p

I always do minimal housework, don't worry! It's just nice for me to have 1 day in per week - sometimes I feel like I am never in long enough to get things done. And I need to clean as I have a houseful this weekend.

BTW I edited my last post with a response to you!

Grrr about the motorbike  £900 in a month-ouchness!

I'm under the weather, grumpy, and flip manically between high octane uber-nesting and sad pathetic little girl whispers of I can't do it, don't wanna do labour, can't cope blah, blah..... All very normal and 8 weeks to go ish :) (she says hoping this is true and the others don't now think I'm mental!) Today's baby-ready plan is to pack labour bag, nesting plan is to do 2 green/black bags worth of decluttering, list 3 ebay items and offer 3 more things on freecycle. Wish me luck!

Are you blooming or are you feeling manky like me?

    xxx

Morning! I hope everyone off to TC has an amazing time. I told my OH that I'm meeting three builders called Dave on Friday- he was tres confused.

Hugs to Lexi and Sparkle, hope LO is better soon.

Hugs to Fitz and hope you feel better.

Mel- grrr at your OH that sucks big time.

Susan- is there a chance that the HG might just not happen with another pregnancy or is it very likely that it will? Were you Ill for the whole nine months?

    morning GISI :hello:

I'm not susan, but there's a 16% chance that a woman having HG in a first PG will have it again, or 10.5% if with a different partner. I'm sure Susan will most definitely not be using a change of paternity to reduce her risk factor though :) (sorry, silly joke!)

Gap between pregnancies also changes the likelihood of recurrance.

    HTH,

    Morning :)

That sounds like a rubbish baby group Beenie, I thought ours was clicky but actually once i got talking to them they're really nice. Are there any others you can go to?

Just a random thought but I've just noticed I haven't seen Krystal for a while. Have I just been missing her or is she away doing something I've missed?
