Whats wrong with the 3d? I have the SX Sleepover and love it!!!! It is a big pram tho and takes up a lot of room, but I wouldn't swap it for anything!
    classic or linear?

    why I hated the 3d;
It's not very easy to push/steer
it's a bastarge to fold - supposedly you can fold it in newborn mode and with hood still attached - lies, lies I tell thee!
all the zip pulls kept falling off
the 'newborn' bit is too small (Chris out grew it between 3/4 mths and he was a small baby)
the basket is pretty small and has an opening about the size of a letter box
I got the matching carseat (they have since changed this so not sure if still the case) Chris out grew it at about 5mths luckily a friend gave me their old one so I didn't have to fork out another £100+ for a new to use for 4mths.

I think the only thing I liked about it was that the back of the hood zipped off to create a sun canopy - much better than a parasol.

Beenie Hope you got some sleep hunny. The manipulative B isn't your responsibility. You are only responsible for yourself and your children. Take care of the three of you. xx
Those of you with older kids - at what point did you stop taking food along for baby when you went out for lunch

I don't normally take anything with us, she just gets a bit of everyones. :)
I'm not sure when you have to start buying them something extra?! Our carvery is really good. I'd expected her to just have some of my dinner and some veg on the highchair tray. But they provided a bowl and spoon so she could have her own for free. :D

    Mines Classic (I think).
I love the huge shopping basket, the big bouncy wheels, the snugglyness of the footmuff.
I hate that it's huge when folded and i'd really struggle to get it in the car, if I had a normal sized car.
OOh, i wonder if the back of my hood zips off? I used the parasol last year that was pretty useless!
Our car seat lasted til V was 11 months old - but she is quite ickle.

OH keeps asking me when i'm selling it now i've got my Zia, but I keep making excuses. The Zia is in the boot of the car and i've been using the SC for walking to the shops.

Hugs SS for lack of sleep.

    Em How cute! :)

Good luck today Searchie I hope the appointment goes well.

    :rotfl:, I was only wondering!

I have it on the linear frame. Mine is obviously a slightly different body bit with it being the sleepover. I must admit, I've never tried to fold it as a 'oner', I always take the body off, then fold the wheels. (it says to do this in my book :o) Its definately not an easily portable pram but I walk more often than drive. And when I do drive I have a massooooive car/boot space. My hall is big enough to leave the pram 'up' without being in the way and I can also fit it 'up' in my coat cupboard although I still put the body on the moses stand in the corner of the living room and he naps in there.
I suppose it just depends on what you want from a pram :D

I've got my eye on a 3 wheeler for talking over fields/down the woods with the dog, no way I'm wreaking my SX  :rotfl:

    Morning all,

Was on earlier but didn't post (have PM'd Beenie though!)

Off to Baby Sensory today, then going swimming this afternoon.

Csh - the changing room thing seems to be quite common as my friend's little boy hated them too! Must be the echoey noise or something! Anyway hopefully H will enjoy it and the sight of me in a swimsuit will scare everyone else off so we can have some nice quiet time.
Hope you feel better by the way. My cold has just shifted - had it for about 2 weeks.
And I have phoned NHS24 twice and they were fine. They aren't doctors so what they can do is limited, but they are there to provide some guidance or advice so better than nothing for most people I think.

Right, I am off now. Have a nice day everyone. x

lol! I don't think it's possible to fold the linear with the seat/carrycot on it anyway. The 3d is very different to the traditional carry cot/seat unit type, I would LOVE a classic SX (and I had a wee bounce of a coach built when I ordered my new pram :D) but I don't walk much at all, have a tiny house and when I had Chris was driving a 3door nissan micra - no chance of getting an SX classic in there!

I hope H gets on fine then! I never clicked quick enough that it was the changing room he didn't like (and not me in a swimsuit) and stayed in trying to calm him down! Doh!

The pool was really quiet only about 6 peeps, thats why I love term time haha

FGS! K just sh*t again, 3rd time today! I think he forgot he could do it yesterday lol

I did catch up earlier but when J went back to sleep at 9am I kinda went with him :o

OH's fault as he went to work later and I CBA to start housework while he was here!

J is currently making his way through a piece of toast. He won't hold it in his hand so I am breaking off bits for him and he has swallowed a whole solider already :j
Few scary gaggin moments but he seems to be handling it OK.

The tap water is also goping down well!

Any reason why Jack can't have sausage and mash?

The sausages are frozen so would be cooked tonight and then given to him tomorrow (will keep in the fridge)

Beenie - I am so angry that your Ex has done this to you. Just as you were getting yourself back together.
This OD was done for effect - he bought enough drugs into your house for it. If he wasn't manipulating you he wouldn't have told you what he was doing so that you called the ambulance to save him.
Stay strong hun and don't let him in again xxxxxxxxxx
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I had the Silvercross 3d Sport and always had to take the pram body off before I folded it - BIG FAT PITA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it took up the WHOLE BOOT!
