I think we can safely disregard your contribution.
Your post is scare-mongering and insensitive. You appear to think that the OP's son is a monster and that his friends need to be protected from him. You have invented a legal obligation (a little knowledge is a dangerous and misleading thing). The unfortunate OP has enough on her plate without you making things up and adding to her burden.
I have first hand experience of this. You can choose to disregard what you like. Frankly I don't care. But don't start trying to put words in my mouth. It's not appreciated. I can assure you I am neither hysterical nor have I implied that anyone's child is a monster (seriously! are you for real???!!!!!)."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Son seems quite a lot happier tonight, he came in from school with my husband who had walked him home to give them more time together.
When he came in asked if i minded whether he could walk himself to school tomorrow and home, i said to him given the events of this week in his opinion did he think that is was a sensible, he thought about it and said actually no can i still go in the car. This has suprised me no end cos i really expected a strop from him and a retreat to his room. As he seemed open to chat i asked if he would mind staying down stairs with us tonight, he could use facebook as the pc is in the lounge and said ok, it has been quite sociable. Let him attend the youth club tonight as there are out reach workers there who have one to one with kids if they are having probs, he went with his brother who said they just got stuck in to playing pool and badminton together. There are none of his friends that go as its not 'cool'. Younger brother had my mobile to ring incase there were any probs but at 9pm they both come out laughing into the car. We have come in the house and he seems to want to say something. I asked if he wanted to come upstairs and watch big brother with me and said ok but as he saw my husband was down stairs stayed with him. They have now gone out together in the car to fetch daughter from army cadets so hopefully he will say something positive.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Steph that sounds good - a small step in the right direction for him. Lots of positive reinforcement and positive reaction to him in this frame of mind should really help him. And how much better for your other children, too. Stef, I've just read this thread from start to finish & am not going to pretend to have any advice for you.
All I wanted to say that was from what I can see you are doing everything that you could and should be doing for your son.

Thanks, unfortunately he didnt either have enough confidence to speak or not enough time with my daughter being dismissed on time.
He did have hubby in hysterics saying about younger son playing badminton and passing wind at the same time as hitting the shuttle. But like said perhaps baby steps are what are needed. Little by little and see how it goes.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
