Has anyone flown with Delta? Just wondering what economy is life.

I've only flown Delta on domestic, but in Economy there is not a great deal of difference between any of the major carriers transatlantic.

Hi, just wondering if any recent travellers to New York via JFK could give me any info on whether it's possible to buy English tobacco specifically Golden Virginia in Duty Free at JFK? I know we could probably get it on our way out at Heathrow but normally Duty Free in the USA is cheaper so just trying to save a little bit so that we can have more spending money in NYC.

    Thanks

flown with delta all good but I wouldn't like to fight the air stewardesses. Had I funny thing on the flight back . think I will share . mrs greeny is epileptic and had a fit on the way home so I asked the steward for a cloth and with some water on . He replied in his campest American voice . "sparkling or still sir" he didn't know but made the best of a bad situation .
 hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world

That's hilarious. I wonder if he is just hard wired to ask "sparkling or still?" when anyone asks for water, or if he was a bit dim.

    Hello everyone
My husband has just announced he wants to take me to New York for my 50th next year - St Patrick day as it goes😊. They have a parade all for me.

He is looking at econo lodge and I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion?

    Hi all,

I'm working on my itinerary for New York in 2 weeks time - I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to look over it and give some feedback on timings/activities/subways to take etc?
    Would be very much appreciated!

    I'd suggest checking Trip Adviser.

If it's the Times Square one it looks like a half decent location.

Thanks. Yes I believe that is it. I just wondered if anyone has had experience of it. New York looks super daunting. Am not sure if all the hard work to plan and pay for it will be worth it. I always wanted to go but not a sure now. Visas, tolls, tips yikes
