Thanks. Yes I believe that is it. I just wondered if anyone has had experience of it. New York looks super daunting. Am not sure if all the hard work to plan and pay for it will be worth it. I always wanted to go but not a sure now. Visas, tolls, tips yikes

It isn't cheap. But it is fantastic.

Let me know what the Liverpool Bars like . If you have anything LFC or local to Anfield take it with you for them .Day 4 enjoy wall street and battery park and Brooklyn itself . stop spending so much time at GAP . where are you staying , whats in your party and you've not mentioned Central park
 hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world

:rotfl: I'm not sure if you are joking, but it certainly made me laugh!

I meant GAP as in a gap in my planning - not the shop ;)

Ah, Central Park, of course! Thank you!

We are staying at the Hotel Chandler, and there is just myself and my partner going.

Be warned with the Yankee Stadium timing, they've introduced airport style scanners & are openly advising leaving plenty of time to get through them. For a 7.05pm first pitch you may be cutting it fine particularly given by my count it'll be a Red Sox game during opening week - the stadium will be particularly busy. While I don't foresee similar issues, the NYCFC game had numerous complaints about the procedure of getting through the gates a couple of weeks back!
Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.

Thank you, this is very useful to know, and we'll build in time accordingly - thanks. :T

    A couple of ideas:
    The High Line walking path:

Metro North's Hudson Line (passenger train service), which is scenic where it runs alongside the river once you're clear of New York City.

Hi all. This is a massively informative thread. I've seen some really good flight prices for NY for next February. We've been in May and October when the weather was good. I know it's going to be cold in Feb, but how cold?
Anyone been in Feb and have any experiences to share?
