Im having trouble booking Carmel Cars for airport pick up, does anyone know how I can book it without a contact number?

It does not provide enough space for my mobile number, could I possibly put a fake one down and book it??

US numbers are in the format of XXX-XXX-XXXX
UK numbers are in the format of 07XXX XXXXXX
What I've done in the past, is drop the first 0, and just fill in the rest.

    It'll let you book..

Ah I see, I'll have to do it that way then I guess. Is there any particular reason why they need my phone number as I don't intend on making any calls over there!

Also, excuse me for sounding a tad thick but.. on my e-ticket It says its British Airways but operated by American Airlines and I should land at T 7 in JFK.

Does that mean my flight is British Airways or AA?!
  • Well thanks to family connections we've managed to book a package for £1050 for 5 nights in the middle of April which I'm chuffed about! Just gotta do the attractions planning now! I think I'm most excited about all the delicious food that's on offer there!!

Wow, thats a great price, well done!

Im with you on that one, im a bit of a foodie myself and the food is out of this world providing you step out of Time Square which provides tourists with the typical cheap bland rubbish. Hells Kitchen is the place to be!
  • I've already got Katz's Deli, Sylvias and Nathans Famous on the list! I'm excited to try out food from all of the different cultures. We're planning on seeing Times Square on the night we get there just to experience the 'bright lights' but after that we'll be off exploring for sure!

  • Damn it! Katz Deli! That was the one place I wanted to visit but I toally forgot when I went to NY! Im definitely going there this year, whether the girlfriend likes it or not!

Well we have booked 6 nights from 4th April yipeee. As a first timer, are there any websites to go to for discounts etc to attaractions? Also, which ones are best to book in advance?

Would like to plan the days we are there to get the most out of our visit.

Also any recommendations for airport shuttles, or are thy all pretty much the same?

Looks like you have the short straw and you're flying American. That'll be T8 in JFK. What's the flight number, and I'll check for you?

Hi, I'm a new poster to this thread, we are looking at flights for February and American Airlines is the cheapest at £495 from Manchester, just noticed the above post which says they've drawn the short straw, is there a problem with AA. We are also thinking of booking Grand Hyatt as 42nd Street seems to be a popular area.
