Is it just too sad to even contemplate, or do you think I'd still get a lot out of it?
What sort of prices (flight only) have you found, with whom and around what dates? Just want to check them against what I can find - Ireland to New York seems to be in and around the £530 mark. But maybe you're just in the 'thinking about' stage?0 -
I've just changed all my tesco deals over to airmiles, so it would be an airmiles flight.
Also been sent a link to a credit card giving 25,000 bonus points meaning I could get 1 night free at a Crowne/Intercontinental/Holiday Inn, or could get 2 nights if I added a bit of cash to that.
Was originally going to go with a friend and was thinking of 4 nights, but if I go on my own might make it 3.0 -
Go for it Ladyshopper, its not sad at all and Im sure you will get chatting to lots of people on your trip
You could always see if you can get a big apple greeter too if you fancy a bit of company and someone to help show you around. New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.

Last time we were in NYC, there was a group of us and one girl spent a lot of time wandering around on her own. She toured round on the on/off bus tours and thoroughly enjoyed herself.
I'm sure you'd have a fabulous time, even if you were by yourself. Plus, you don't have anyone complaining if you want to do something they don't (or, if like me, you want to do a lot of shopping!).“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Thanks for the supportive comments. Think I probably will go, don't see why I should miss out just because my mates are boring!!0

Which is better: Club quarters or Manhattan Center Hotel(formerly Rockefeller Center Hotel), they are both in the building so i dont know if they are the same hotel or separate hotels.

Thats correct, is there any differences as we dont know which one to book!!!0 -
Sorry, not a clue! But you can read the responses on there and maybe that will help make up your mind.
The Manhattan Centre Hotel gets a higher rating - that usually makes a difference to me
Is there much difference in cost? “I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”
