Ive never been to woodbury common however the things that put me off are:

its costs $40 per person to get there, which is £27 each
its gonna take a whole day to get there, get back and do any justice to the shops there
I always get enough bargains in manhattan not to bother going futher a field.

Best thing to do is have alook at the store listings:

and decide if its worth the trip out

I like the levi, and ralph lauren outlests, so it might be worth it for me just for those stores! Unless items like levis etc aer as cheap in places like macys???

Last trip I bought 3 pairs of 501's for $99 less 10% out of towners discount at macys, so less than $90 for 3 pairs of 501's, which given that the exchange rate at the time was $1.75 to the £ its a bargain.

My tip would be go and get your 10% card from macys, floor 1.5 opposite starbucks, don forget your passport, and then see how much the stuff is there and you may find you dont need to waste time and money at woodbury common.

Another alterative is TJ Maxx, where i have been able to get ralph lauren polos for less than $30 each.

I agree with phatbear - plus Century 21 tend to have a good selection of Ralph Lauren, and it is often on sale at the dept stores.

I should have been flying tomorrow ... :(
    Gone ... or have I?

    Hi Paul7331
If you do a search in the old NYC thread you will find lots of peoples feedback on woodbury common to give you better idea which should help you :)
I have been WC and prob wouldnt go again it didnt have many of the brands I liked/could afford. However it is an outlet and as you have been them before in US you know what to expect. If you think you will be saving more than the $40pp you spend to get there and you dont mind spending the day there or if its only a few shops you want to go and you have self control not to spend all day there an just a few hours then may be worth concidering it.

In the city there is Macys as phatbear said and the Levi store its self which may have a sale area? worth looking into if you can get just as cheap in city.

Have you checked Woodbury Common is open on Easter Sunday? Jersey Gardens is definitely closed.

I've been and didn't spend much - it really wasn't worth the trip imo. You can generallly pick up most of the brands there, in Manhattan too and if you search around, you'll definitely find plenty of bargains.
