Thought you found it boring but you're still going again?

I may find it as exciting as watching lawn mower racing but alas Mrs PB likes it, personally I think she fancies derek jeter, and if I can keep her sweet by putting up with watching paint dry for a few hours so be it

I found this thread because I was looking at going to new york but alas, it is not looking likely anymore but thought I'd share this.
STA travel are currently doing really cheaap (IMO) flights to New York. I think they are £279 if you are over 21, £225 if youre a student/under 26 and £225 if two people book together and are under 26/student.
This is with Kuwait airlines and it is valid until the 14th june (but the prices and dates vary) but it is deffo this price in the first week of june

Good tip, but aren't Kuwait Airlines always a bit cheaper than other options, because they're a 'dry' airline? Some of the seasoned NY travellers can't quite cope with that!

Hey, don't twist my words. I never say anything is close to everything!!! I said It's in Manhattan, it's a short walk to the subway, you can easily head to areas of the city for nightlife

That does not mean it is close to everything, because it's impossible that anywhere is close to everything in New York... ;)

True - sorry :o (i was trying to type on my phone quickly as my battery was dying...)

Just booked LHR-JFK return 17th-24th April, £400 each (2 of us) Delta via net flights. Really pleased with the price. I really wanted to fly Virgin for the airbus but left it too late, will definitely book in advance next time!

I flew Kuwait when I went to NY with my best friend for our 21st birthdays (a few years back :D). They were fine for that length of flight, plane was a bit shabby in places, from what I remember, but I imagine that they might have refurbed them by now (we're talking 6 years ago).

If the price is substantially cheaper than any other airline, I reckon it's well worth it. I know people get hung up on flying with 'good' airlines but it's hardly a long flight (I live in Australia now - that IS a long flight) and I'd rather spend the difference on shopping/eating/sight seeing than a slightly nicer fabric on my plane seat.
