Well I've just returned from the Club Quarters on the World Trade Centre site where I paid £59 a night for a room with 2 double beds. I doubt you could get anything cheaper in Manhatten and its was a nice hotel round the corner from a subway stop. :D
Hey guys just booked a flight for New york (20-30th June) Now there's 3 of us which is an awkward number. Anyone know of any hotels in Manhattan that are £50 or less a night. we've seen a few but you know never stop looking till youve booked. Might find somewhere better/cheaper. Any help i'll really appreciate it.

March is a cheap month. $100 a night to $150 a night is quite normal in tourist class hotels.

    *facepalm*

I think I spent about 10 minutes in Macy's last NYC visit... it was about 8 minutes too long

Hi, has anyone any opinion/advice relating to the Groupon today for the boat deals? It seems like a bargain to me? Was thinking of buying one, or even two, of the experiences

Is there anything I should be aware of when buying Groupon in another currency? I use the British one quite a lot

    Thank you!

I bought that deal today for me and mrs pb.

I have previously experienced an issue buying in a foreign currency with groupon however this was an issue with the bank who thought it was a fraud issue so refused it. However on our recent trip to san fran we purchased the duck tours prior to flying out and there was no probs at all

Thank you! I will buy this later today. I will need to call New York Water Taxi first, to ask at what age a child needs a ticket.

Lower Manhattan? nope, there isn't anywhere that I can think of in that small area of New York City.

Head to Brooklyn Bowl. It's in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, so only 1 hop on the L train. It's a newer bowling experience, with live bands on, amazing food, good beers. It is different probably to what you're used to. http://m4rk.in/ecgm4H

Bowlmor is based at Union Square, Manhattan, or Times Square, much the same as above, without the live music iirc. - http://m4rk.in/gGNhSy

    Phatbear - haha.. nice! :D
