  • My plans have moved into an important and vital stage now...pizza.

I like Pizza, pizza is brilliant. I want to eat some whilst in New York.

I did find this scottspizzatours.com - but M4RKM has already told me to not bother on Twitter as apparently for the money you hardly get any pizza. Did I mention I like pizza?

I think this is my current front runner - johnsbrickovenpizza.com but if you have any other suggestions then throw them at me. I'm staying at the Cosmo if that helps. Many thanks.

And just to prove I'm not just about eating pizza and drinking beer...

I have half considered some sort of walking tour of New York probably of places like Greenwich Village etc. Nothing too strenuous or time consuming (2-3hours absolutely max). Just to get some real insight to the city from people who live there.. Has anybody had any experience of these? Or is it far better to save the money and just explore alone and find things randomly?

I remain, as ever, grateful to you all.
  • I went on scotts pizza tour! I loved it... We went to four different pizza places and learned loads about how it's made, the ovens, the history, etc etc. I really enjoyed it...
  • which pizza place do they go to on sex and the city? The slices are huge!!

    Hi folks

I'm looking at surprising my partner for her 30th with a trip to New York around the 20th of March.

I had previously found some cheap Premium Economy flights with Virgin but they seem to have evaporated!!

Can anybody recomend a good way to get some cheap premium economy seating and also a nice hotel in NY that will have the wow factor!

    thanks in advance.

Can i be brutally honest and say that Premium Economy simply isn't worth it, even more so given the flight to NYC isn't actually that long and even less coming back.

The money would be in my opion far better spent on the hotel or spending money.

I would disagree, the PE option was wonderful for us.
Loved the priority boarding, priority luggage and the extra space. Wouldn't consider flying that distance any other way

i truly think i could golly from the rooservelt and hit 5th avenue. If you jump off the top with your brolly open like mary poppins your body will be scraped up all down 5th avenue. The rooservelt is central to central just by grand central thats how central. %th Ave next block big shops close to Bryant Park Central Park 15 mins walk Times Square 10 mins ESB 10 mins ToTR 10 mins good local transport links for downtown.
