If they are going for 2 weeks can i suggest getting the bus (MegaBus iirc) up to Buffalo for Niagara Falls, or heading up to Boston for a few days.
2 weeks is NYC is wasted.
Thanks for replying.
That's not a bad idea to combine places, would like to see Niagara at some point so it could be a good opportunity! Have been to Boston already - it was nice though.0 -
search for flights on kayak.co.uk

You do realise that December is the most expensive time of year don't you?
What is your budget, what do you want to see and do?
I'm sure we're prepared to help, but throw us a rope and tell us what you've found on sky travel
M
Thanks will have a look. Yeah i did guess that this will be more expensive but have allways wanted to go around christmas. I dont really want to spend anymore that £600 though would go to £700 i think i may be unrealistic for December?
There are deals on sky travel for just under 600 but these hotels seem a little basic, i am not so much worried about this as i dont think will be in the hotel alot. The only thing i dont want is a shared bathroom like many hotels are showing. Also any tips on the best areas to stay in New York or where not to?
I would like to do the usual sight seeing and shopping in New York but i am open to any recomendations people have?0 -
But 2 weeks of exploring will be exhausting. I understand that a quick weekend break isn't enough, but I'm in double figures on how many times I've been to NYC, and I've still not seen it all, or seen everything I want to see.
Yes you can incorporate something else into the trip, or, you could look at making it a shorter more defined trip of what you want to do. It's a tricky one really...
M
Hmm... Think I need to go away and have a ponder then come back when I've got a clearer idea of what I'd like to do.
Thanks for your help so far.0 -

The new yorker does not have kettles however if you ask at reception they will send a coffee maker up to your room which you can use for tea and just not put the coffee in however take your own teabags as they do not supply tea bags just coffee, powdermilk and cardboard cups.New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.
