Hiya,
You have to do what you are most comfortable with. However, I have always booked separately and never as a package.
What dates are you going?
Where are you stopping?
Where do you want to fly from?0 -

Sounds like a good price,:) think I'd take Martins advice and put at least £1.00 on a credit card just in case of any problems with accomm. Also another thing to bear in mind is the 'volcano' (I personally think thats done with now) but if its not a package you wouldnt get a rfund on the accomm if its not booked with being able to cancel.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

I'm trying to find best/cheapest way to get from Newark to Brooklyn where we're staying.
Round trip on Coach USA Bus from Newark to port authority terminal (and then onwards by metro) is $25 pp round trip.
Is that about right?
I was looking at super shuttle and it was like $90 each way!!
Anyone got any advice please?0 -
WoW just found this place. Heading to NY in September off the back of a trip to Hawaii, so we're staying at the Millennium Hilton for 2 nights before heading home. Managed to get a good deal there. It's 5* and was good value. I believe they're still offering a discount. Might have something to do with the works going on at ground zero though.

Hi all,
I have just started reading through the posts. Was wondering if anyone could help me out.
I am going to Peru via New York (JFK airport) next week. I will have nearly one full day stay in New York both on the going and return journey.( 8am -11pm).
I know it’s a short time but wanted to do some site seeing in New York on my first day and shopping on the second day.
could someone recommend me a good 1 day tour I should do. I do not mind going on a tour bus that takes you round. Also shopping destination / site seeing places for my second day.
Many Thanks0 -
