I agree with that Mark, At night there wasnt that much in area for diner we had to go else where for a nice restaurant however for in the day to do the tourist things Macys, TS, Empire state etc It was good.
Plus getting drunk in TS and not having to walk far back to hotel....it was a superb location that nightNew York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.
No place in the world that can compare ♥ 2nd October 2010 ♥0 -
You could get drunk in any location. it does run 24/7
changed your quote for my own pleasure.
New Yorker has more debates about inside outside and whats around it than anywhere else I say
Great to look at- Average to stay (never stayed but got big ears & a mates been there twice)
Great for daytime location -pants once youve finished shopping unless your going to MSG.
But close to transport links so close to anywhere.
Easy to find when drunk because everyone knows where it is
Staff are a bit kack with customer services (afaik)

Just a reminder
Priceline and Hotwire can be useful in NYC.
Also staying across the Hudson at Jersey City can save $$$0 -
Hey Lewroll,
I had the same problem. My friend and I are off to NY in a couple of weeks and were supposed to be staying with a friend (woo MS!) but sadly she can no longer put us up (boooo). So with a month to go we were faced with having to find a cheap hotel with two beds. Almost impossible!
But, with effort, we found the best western in china town. Obviously I have yet to go there but trip advisor gave it good reviews and for 4 nights accommodation, it's £230 each (we've booked direct with the hotel so it's in dollars which is saving as well).
I'll let you know if its any good when we get back (and the final cost and whats included) but it was certainly the best available deal for two beds!

The main problem we have is that we need two beds. We're not so close that we want to risk having a tiny double room...
We're going from wed 24th feb to sunday 28th.... Any other offers always appreciated!LBM: January 2010DFD: August 27th 20120 -

M-that's amazing! We searched so much for hotels- i actually looked for the Cosmo after reading what you'd said but it said they had no 2 beds available. I can't remember if it was before or after tax as my friend sorted it out in the end.
I will be emailing here immediately and telling her this! Thank you!!
Will let you know the outcome.
