You have to give all of your details, along with details of the hotel you are staying in.0 -

Hi chez
I've never heard of either of them before - any idea why ?
Particularly why Ba would need to know where you were staying, after all, they are nothing more than a glorified bus service.

It's all part of the new border checks - they pass the information on to Customs & Border Patrol ahead of arrival to allow some checks to be done in advance.
If you go to 'Manage my Booking', the section for entering the info is in there somewhere..0 -
Oh thats just great! Does anyone know what checks they do?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

My understanding is that it is the same checks they would do when you arrive, but this way they get some done in advance, meaning you get through quicker..
You didn't really think they would just let you through without doing ANY checks, did you??0 -

Not sure how proactive the checking is, but once the biometric stuff comes in this Autumn/next year, the checks will be very proactive.
All airlines have to submit customer data to the US authorities within 20 minutes of take off from the originating country. If they don't, the US will deny them landing rights and fine the airline. It has been law since shortly after 9/11.0 -
I've been reading up on a lot of this stuff, as I was arrested for Drunk and Disorderly when I was 17...
I read about these details being passed when researching the function of the CLASS system (Consular Lookuot and Support System).
Still can't find out what information is available to the US authorities if you tick no on the form (which I can do with hand on heart as d&d is not a crime of moral turpitude!)0 -

I think you will find they do. Log in with your boarding reference number and have a look. They require the same information as all airlines.
Otherwise all the terrorists and illegal immigrants would travel AA!!!0
