Hi everyone :hello:
I've been on holiday which was brill ... 4 days in Belgium (my cousins wedding) with loads of delicious Belgium Beer  & wonderful food.
Then a week in France on the beach ... i did swim lots & play bat & ball with DD but also ate lots of cheese, pate, french bread & the wine was so cheap i couldn't resist.
So not daring to get on the scales (in case i chicken out of going) i'm off to rejoin my local weightwatchers meeting tonight ... fingers crossed the damage isn't too bad!

I'm here Lois - didnt get a chance to get on last night as we were gardening. I have decided that I HATE gardening. We spent almost 4 hours weeding, cutting grass, cutting hedges (v large garden!)- that bit is ok, its the clearing up afterwards. Today my back is aching and so are my legs - it must have done me some good though.
Good to see some of the old names back and welcome to the new ones. Loopy Loo - good luck at WW tonight.
Lois - I nipped into Sainsburys on ,my way home from work - they had that sauce on offer - think it was 2 for £2 - may be wrong. I looked at it and thought it would be high in syns and put it back  Oh well, maybe next time.
House pretty much ship shape - just need to find the boxes with pictures in it to put them back on walls to hide dirty marksthen we are ready for viewers again. I really cant stand the thought of it. Didnt get to SW last night with all the gardening activity - I will weigh myself at mums later just as a guide until next weigh in.
Just had a bowl of cereal - I will have to syn it because I have used my milk and He(b) for today - I was just plain hungry and thought that would be better than the biscuits I really wanted.
Back later...0 -
Popped back on to say that I also got some Quorn fillets in Sainsbury's on offer BOGOF £1.99
Thai Chicken Fillets - 1/2 syn each
Tikka Chicken Fillets - free
Will report back later on taste!!0 -
Honey, i was so sorry to read about your house disappointment. You seem to be handling it really positively and not letting it get you down - so now when i get a stroppy customer at the restaurant and want to eat chips i realise that it's a really poor excuse! so there is a bit of a silver lining there . . . .
Just weighed in after my first proper week on SW - lost 1.6kg. Really really chuffed! I just need to make sure i get my HEs but otherwise i've found it really easy. Quick question though - does wine keep it's syn value if you are cooking with it?
LL can i join the weight loss club please?
catch you all later0 -
Hi
I have been to WW today and I am soooo pleased
I have lost 2lbs!!! After struggling for so long I finally think I am starting to get a "grip"!!! mind you it has only taken three months of classes and only a 3.5lb weight loss to get me there!!
So I am aiming for 1.5lbs this week to get my first silver seven. It is my birthday next Tuesday so that would be a great pressie LOL

Well done Katie & Gilly - that's great stuff, feel free to send some weight losing vibes over to me - I have had an "eat it & drink it" which was a bit daft as I was so cross with a maintain last week - I am sure there is some psycho analysis in there somewhere!!Misguided maybe, but never really bad!! :A0

Hi Katiepoppycat - well done on your weight loss, that's 3.5 pounds!! I've added you to the chart, which I'll be posting soon. :T
Well done Gilly - that's great news, can we take any of the credit for that?

Off to Cambridge to swim in one of the outdoor pools today with my 2 girls, that should be interesting, especially as my 15 month old is having a right old tantrum today. I had a choice of new swimming costumes to put on, however I'm playing it safe with my black one from last year, as I know I feel comfortable in it.
Jen
Hi Jen - I hope you enjoyed your swim. Your post reminded me that I went away for a weekend in a hotel that had a pool, and took a cossie that I hadn't worn for a while. When I put it on, it was much too big, and it got worse when I got wet, making it impossible to swim without exposing myself! I'd overlooked the fact that I was two sizes bigger when I wore it last!
Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow.

Hi all
Well I've procrastinated long enough, and I think I've got all the new people, and all the weight losses, but do shout if I haven't.
Total weight loss this week of 16.5 lbs, which is excellent, and an overall total of 335.25 lbs - that's 23 stone, or 152 kg! Give yourselves a pat on the back!
