Also have you noticed that Quorn Sausages are different? You get two varieties now, quorn bangers and cumberland style instead of the one, generic version.

Anyone know if the syn content is different?

Hi Jen - there's also BBQ pork, pork and leek, spinach and gruyere, and bramley apple flavour, and I believe they're all free on SW - on both red and green days. (As a point of interest, that means they qualify as super free foods if you're doing Mix2Max or Success Express.)

They are one of the few foods that used to be synned and are now free!

Have you tried the recipe for sausage ragout, using Quorn sausages, from the recipes thread? I've done it and it's really good.

    Hi
    Justa quick one...

I'm confused about the number of Ryvitas you are allowed as a HE on a green day with SW. Does anyone know?

BTW - Sankeygirl - I've never lived in Leamingon Spa (always South Wales or Manchester) - we may have met in an airport lounge though! Off to Heathrow tonight and then on to Brazil until Thursday night. Not looking forward to it - have met clients before and they are quite difficult. Food will also probably be a bit of a bu**er.

Hope you have a great trip rachel - and no doubt our paths will cross on BA at some time:rolleyes:

Well as anticipated my weigh in this morning was nothing to celebrate - I stayed the same:mad: Cant complain really though its been a bad week for eating out and I havent really compensated for that with any additional excercise. The one positive is that I havent put any on:o

Anyway the focus is back again now so I am off for an hours walk when I have finished this and then I have compiled some toning excersises I can do whilst I watch tv (Not BB though that takes too much concentration!)

Hope the rest of you have more success than me this week:cool:

    Hi Rachel

You can have four of the original or wholewheat, or 2 Ryvita breaks (the sweeter ones).

    Have a good trip.

p.s. edit - just realised they're not called wholewheat - I meant dark rye!

    Hi,
I think you can have 4 of the original (including the Rye ones - they are 1.5 syns each so as a HEB is 6 syns, then that would work), or 2 of the sesame ones, or a bag of Ryvita minis ( recommend the sweet chilli ones with a little bit of philly light on them - yum!) :j .
Honey - I am so sorry about your house, I will keep everything crossed that your vendors are stuck trying to sell their house for the next 12 months - people are so short sighted  ! Hope the wine and the break did you some good, and that you come home with renewed enthusiasm. If not, I always find a good winge on here seems to help me!!
I took the kids raspberry picking today, it was the healthiest thing I could think of to do with a 2 and a 4 year old who have cabin fever after 20 minutes in the house!! They had an absolute riot, and I was planning to make lots of jams ...... and then read the recipe, and that I would need 1.5 KG of sugar for the amount of raspberries I had .......... !! I think I'll just have them with muller light and make smoothies for the kids!
    Have a good weekend.
    xx
Misguided maybe, but never really bad!! :A

I eat a lot of fruit and steamed veg so need something I can pick at. A bag of something? or a cereal bar! I have just been looking on the mse start up site for my free diet profile. Hello all, I've been lurking on this thread for a week but now I am joining you. I started SW (again) on Saturday 29th July, went to my first class Monday 31st July, and have my first official weigh-in tomorrow. I'd like to lose 47.5lbs in total (groan) by next May, when I have a posh wedding to attend.

Hi Julie, we have the same weight to lose as I am 11stone 2 and am 5ft5 too.

As for snacks have you tried some dried chickpeas, basically wash tinned ones through and stick them on a baking tray, sprinkle with cayenne pepper or any other seasoning and cook until dried out. This is in a GI book, and they are really tasty. Or what about meringue's with stewed fruit.

My husband too is reluctant to do the dieting, he's just addicted to chocolate.

    Anyway good luck this week.

Hello again! I have been to Tesco's for the weeks shopping...
For snacks I bought;-Sultanas, muller light, Rivita minis and Harvist Cheweee
bars. I could not find prizels
I also bought some weight watcher meals. Plain meat as in pork joint for rotisserie and steak for healthy living grill to go with vegetables from the steamer. Stayed well clear of all the processed dinners with extra calories.

    Comsultant-what do you think! Please!
Everyone-what was on your shopping list? idea's welcome!

Once again bought stacks of fruit and veg. Semi-milk, wholemeal bread.the list goes on...
