If you are finding this week harder than others you aren't a failure - it's normal.
And if you get back on your weight-loss track next week, you're above average.
    Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.3

I'm barely eating because of the heat, but i'm guessing I shouldn't hope to lose any weight this way.

I just wanna sweat it off!

I went to enter my weight on the SW website, but I didn't have my book to hand. But it was ok, I knew what I weighed....... or did I. I only put myself at 1 stone more than I weigh. I obviously havent got used to this weight loss.

I didn't weigh in this week, as my youngest was in his school play.

I bought some rhuburb tonight when I was getting my shopping.
    I figured I could:

Stew it with some sweetner (both free)
Top with my Healthy Extra B allowance of porridge and hey presto - rhubarb crumble? What you think  Can I do anything else syn free-ish with it??

Hi folks - apologies in advance if I miss anyone but its too hot to think!! lol

Marjorie - 5lb in 6 weeks is good. The norm is to loose about 1-2lb a week and some people just lose slower than others. Your daily plan looks great, lots of variety and covering all your A's and B's, in fact I may copy it for one of my green days :j

Cathys1 - well done on achieving your club 10

Dellybelly - I also have the swollen ankles and every other part of my body problem - I too thought this was a post natal thing lol. Drinking gallons of water but doesnt seem to be helping, except shares in Andrex as I keep needing to go for a wee :rotfl:

Cons31 - Interested in your comment to Honey re eating too little - I think this may be part of my problem. I think I am still in the 'the less I eat the more I will lose' mindset from years of 'bad' dieting and therefore I am quite strict with myself during the week. I think that's why I may fall of the wagon at weekends as I have been too 'good'. I may try and relax a bit and eat more free foods as snacks and see what happens.

Punky - well done on the 4lbs - fab start :T

Jonpotab - commiserations on the 1lb on but hey 11.5 lbs since June is fantastic so well done you.

Lois - mmmmm fresh grapes and pineapple - think I may go and make myself a snack as I have both in the kitchen - also may make up a box to put in the fridge and then I can take them to work tomorrow and snack on during the day as I get hotter and hotter. Great idea thanks.

Good luck to everyone else and hope we are not to wilted in this mediteranian heat

I have clicked thanks for all of you that made lovely comments about my club 10 - but wanted to post it too. I am feeling very big headed right now.

Suewre - :rotfl: you crack me up !!!!!

    Punky - well done! :T

Lois - you are an inspiration with your thoughts of the days - have you considered being a slimming consultant? Wise words are what they need!

After reading so many lovely comments about the syn free curry sauce, I told dh tonight - no bbq tonight (had them everyday almost for a week!) and made curry for us both. It was FAB FAB FAB. We like a home made curry - and this sauce beats all the others I have made. (I considered my self a reasonably good cook.) If you haven't tried it yet - it's worth the effort and washing up!

And oh yes - this heat must mean we'll all sweat a pound off at least this week!!!!

Its good isnt it? I think the next time I make it I will double up and freeze the sauce for a quick dinner one night.

I lost 1.5 lbs this week which is just grand:D It was too hot for aerobics at class yesterday so we did some basic pilates instead. Was interesting and really stretched some muscles but nothing hurts today like i expected it to so was pretty impressive in that sense as well.

Suewre: I keep forgetting how much i weigh too (though even I know which stone boundary i'm in!) i just know how much i've 'lost this week' most of the time. My progress chart (in excel) is looking all lovely and slopey-downy though.

Feeling rather chirpy this morning despite copious amounts of work to do. Hope you all have a great day.

Looking for a recipe for Honey and her rhubarb and came across this one and it sounds gorgeous - cooling and refreshing, and I wanted to share it with you all (off to get the ingredients now!)

    Serves: 4
    Syns per serving:
2½ Syns on Green and Original
    Preparation/cooking time:
    approx. 10 minutes

454 g/1 lb frozen fruits of the forest, e.g. raspberries, redcurrants, blackberries and strawberries
4 level tablespoons powdered artificial sweetener
142 ml/5 fl oz very low-fat natural yogurt
    4 sprigs of fresh mint
    1 level teaspoon icing sugar

    1. Just before you want to serve the ice, put the frozen fruits of the forest into a food processor or strong blender with the artificial sweetener and yogurt and whizz for a few seconds until a thick ice cream forms.
    2. Immediately scoop the ice into 4 individual glasses. Top each glass with a sprig of mint. Put the icing sugar in a sieve and dust lightly over the top. Serve at once.

I'm sure I have something for rhubarb but can't find it at the mo. Will keep looking and let you know later
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
