Well gained 3lb this month. Not a huge gain, so now i know the worse. the botts scales are 2lb heavier than my docs(either that or ive lost 2lb since sat!! lol) but it does mean though that i can check boots to make sure im on track.

right had a bowl of alpen this morning(28g) and im away to have an apricot and an orange.

was planning a bowl of homemade soup - which ive just made carrot/onion/swede/potato and 2stock cubes(so how many points for the whole pot). will be following green cos that's what i tend to lose with. but also thinking of having a bbq tonight - have chicken which i grill mixed with onion and peppers and some mushroom. with either a pitta pocket or a fajita wrap. so might be better following red cos then i can have lots of meat and fill up on chicken and maybe add some bacon to the grill too.

will snack on carrots and fruit all day. and keep a treat size crunchie for bed time.

any helpful hints(even the password so i can plot my weight gain, and my diary).

PS Tried C31's curry sauce and the maltezer freezer last night. Both very yummy, so thanks yet again Ms Consultant!

    You're very welcome :D

Not been around much the last couple of days as my daughter has just had an extension put on her house and I've been volunteered to help with the decorating and heaving of furniture - in this heat!!!! I just keep thinking it's all excercise, gotta be good for me. I should have lost a stone :rotfl:

Jax The soup will be 2 syns for the stock cubes, so, depending how many bowls it makes, almost a free meal!
If you have a red tea you will be ok as that follows the Mix2Max plan, as long as your snacks are all super-free foods (free on both plans). Your Crunchie will have to be synned of course, but it's only 4 syns if it's the 17gm size (6½ if it's 28gms).

    hi

I feel hot and bloted despite drinking so much. I have a weigh in tomorrow but don't feel positive this week because I had that day at Buckingham Palace where I wasn't naughty but can't be sure of how many points I had. Sat I went to 2 BBQ's and wasn't bad but did have 2 rolls which I haven't had for a long time. IBS appears to be playing up, so I am hoping for a stay the same rather than gain.

Is anyone else finding the weather is having an effect?

Sorry folks, I was too pi55ed off to post last night and I still am really but felt bad that you were all waiting to here back from me

I lost...........1/2 a bleeding pound. I know I know - its a half off, its in the right direction , better of than on etc.. but its like telling me theres plenty more fish in the sea when i'm 14 and have just been dumped!

I aint a happy bunny. I tried sooo hard all week, in fact I would go as far as to say its the best I have been since starting SW. I weighed, measured, wrote it all down  I have lost on average 1/2 - 1 a week apart from my first week (4lb) and the weigh in after I had been unwell (4.5lb and 2.5lb). I was soo cheesed off last night I was like a bear with a sore head. DH, DD and DS knew to avoid me! It didnt help that my mum lost 3 1/2 lb although I am so pleased for her - she was convinced she was eating too much and would have put weight on!
I had a look at the menu again that consultant31 sent me for the success express plan but to be honest I am lost with it. Our consultant wasnt there last night, the stand in said that I may be just one of those people who only lose a 1/2 a week. I DONT WANT TO BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE I TOLD HER!!!!

I am going to keep a written food diary and bring it next week ( I normally do it online). I want to lose another stone - at this rate it will take me 28 weeks and that till take me to the end of January

So, there you go. You did ask how I got on - you'll be sorry you did now :rotfl:

Off to cry in a corner some more - in fact I am off to the beach, its glorious here today - will cry later!!

Before I go and huff, Yes Jen, I feel hot and bloated too and I am also drinking loads. I think I mite speak to my dr about IBS, I read a bit about it and the symptoms would be similar to the way I am a lot of the time. I just put it down to food intolerance a lot of the time.

Honey, I've said before that a good week will generaly show on the scales the following week. Don't you dare give up, it's still coming off. What days do you tend to do most? Do you eat bread, cereal etc?

Fritha, I cycle evrywhere. Even in this heat you get a breeze blowing through your hair which cools a little.

I cycled about 50 miles last week which means even though I was quite naughty last week (can't be bothered to cook in this weather) I lost 1lb this week and am now under target!

Come on girls, stick with it, try something different which mught just boost your weight loss

    Good luck
    I haven't got one!

Honey sorry that you are pi**ed off with your loss of 1/2 lb but its still the right way. I know what you mean about being exasperated that its not coming of quicker but at least it is coming off.

Good idea to do a food diary and then chat to your consultant and keep drinking the water as Cons31 said that it can take a wee while for your body to adjust to the amount of water your drinking.

Hugs ((((((((((((((((((())))))))))))) and go and enjoy the beach - its lovely here in Devon with blue skies and a lovely light warm breeze.

Honey, just checked my pockets and found 2p, so for what it is worth.............Keep with it.

I think cheekymole might have a point, sometimes these things take a little time to work the way through. Which is probably part of the reason I tend to weigh myselg every 9 or 10 days as I was getting fed up of working hard on watching what I eat sweating so much in the gym, I would win a wet Tshirt contest and at the end of week very little to show for it.

See what happens next week, its bound to be a good result:beer:

Jen: Er, running, now I've picked myself up of the floor laughing, er, no I don't think that's for me, I have visions of me visiting casualty (again) Ok, I'm being a wuss aren't I, I may have bash at that when it gets a bit less boiling actually, I could take myself off down to the canal and no one would see me! I'll think about it, but I'll definately check out that learn to run thingy you mentioned! I'll also look into Davina's DVD, I've always wondered about that one, the library is a great idea as well thanks :-)

Cheekymole: cycling, um, I'd probably need a bike for that, hmmm, that one can go on the list as well as ones I eally will have to try when I'm being less wussy!

Honey: Much sympathy you're disappointed with your loss, it's very frustrating feeling you're getting nowhere. As everyone has said, keep trying and it will come off. I think you should give yourself a treat, set yourself a target (e.g. when I've lost the next two pounds I'm going to er, I don't know, buy a new necklace) small steps so that you feel you're actually reaching targets rather than havign one big one miles away?

How much have you lost overall? *consults Lois' chart* 12 pounds, that's *thinks*, very close on a stone! That's a real achievement, what difference has that made? How different are things now to those 12 pounds ago? Thinking about it losing half a pound is a real achievement, have you trying lifting something that's half a pound? it's surprisingly heavy.

There's really nothing practical I can say to help, I know nothing about SW plans etc, but I do know a heck of a lot about feeling like everything is hopeless, don't beat yourself up over it it's not worth it. Have a lovely time at the beach, I'll shut up now, sorry :-)
