Just wanted to say a good luck to honey for your weigh in.
Sounds like you deserve a loss but don't get too despondent if it doesn't happen - you're still doing very well! I'll keep me fingers crossed0 -

Honey, that's actually a good idea..:T ... I've been trying to work out how to adjust for weight put on and it'll mean that when I finally get to target I'll have all the more money for clothes (and OH doesn't know that some of it is punishment!) lol.
Finally plucked up the courage to weigh myself this morning. I think I've put on at least 2lbs but I'll know for sure tonight. I was thinking of giving up weightwatchers cos I'm not too sure if I can follow it properly. When I did RC it was a lot stricter. But then I thought again about it and I'm definitley doing the no count for a couple of weeks. It is stricter but easier since I don't have to count points all the time - just for bread and treats etc.
Good luck today with the weigh in Jax , I'm sure you'll have done really well.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Hi all,
Lois ... i've put 1lb on this week ... not very happy with myself
It was my own fault though. My sis came over on Saturday night which wasn't planned (so i'd used my spare points on Friday with BF). Hence the BBQ, wine, nibbles etc etc were totally yummy but i had no points for them
So not a very good start but back on the wagon again today. My sis lost 5lbs last week (but she's been cycling between 12 & 16 miles everyday on her mountain bike! ... i just don't have time ... besides which think it would probably kill me!).
Got a wedding in 2 weeks followed by my holiday ... so want to be 5lbs lighter by then (thats my 2lb a week plus the 1 i just put on).
Good luck to everyone else with their weigh-ins.

Hi folks
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I was doing brilliantly until Saturday and then it all went a bit pear shaped lol. I had meals that weren't planned for (as it was too hot to cook and eat the things I had planned) and some alcohol too that wasnt included so all in all not a good two days. However back on the wagon today so fingers crossed for tomorrow although having stretched the limits last week, I will not be at all surprised if I gain.
Well done to all those who have lost and good luck for all those weighing in the next couple of days.
Welcome to the newbies and congrats to those who have said that they are wearing a smaller size, pre-pregnancy clothes etc - that is when it starts to feel really good.

Come on Honey, how did you do? The suspense.....I haven't got one!0

Hi all - here's the chart for this week.
As you'll see, I've changed the format slightly - the start date has been removed as I didn't think it was necessary. I've also hidden a few people who haven't posted recently, however for the benefit of the eagle eyed amongst you, their weight losses are still included in the total!
As usual, let me know if there are any additions or changes you'd like me to make.
Have a good week everybody.

heeerrrrre honey....c'mon honeeeey..
<tempts with SW chips>
PS Tried C31's curry sauce and the maltezer freezer last night. Both very yummy, so thanks yet again Ms Consultant!0 -
Well, I discovered something interesting today, weighed myself in Boots yesterday then the Nurse insisted on weighing me today, so I've either lost 10 pounds since yesterday or one of the scales aren't accurate! So I can start joining in the 2 pound club next week *wibble*
Honey I tried your chips recipe this weekend, they really were yummy!
I'd like to pick your collective brains re excercise! I go to badminton on a weekend and usually walk in the week but it's far too bloody hot! I'm bored fo swimming at the moment and I loathe the very thought of the gym! I get bored very easily with any excercise unless it's really quite high impact! So I need something I can do, any suggestions?
The only thing I can think of is one (or two so I can alternate) of those excercise DVDs, have anyone got any reccommendations? I need something really energetic and preferably more dancey?
Thanks :-)Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -
Hullo Fritha.
Have you tried running? I'm following a 'Learn to run' plan that was posted on another thread on this site. It's not very entertaining but i'm lucky that i have some nice routes to run and I go very early before it begins to heat up.
I've also done the Davina 'power of three' dvds which were relatively easy but effective. It's not dancy but i find swapping between dvds regularly (i get them from my dvd rental service but the library has some too) staves off the boredom. I've done others but Davina is my fave (but then i'm bit of an exercise wuss still).
Not sure how useful my post is but hope you find something regardless!0
