I do vary it - I rarely have bread. breakfast can be porridge/bran flakes/weetabix/fruit. The odd time I have toast.
This week in particular I have eaten a bucket load - OH always comments that I am always eating - I have eaten loads of fruit this week too- something I usually dont eat enough of. My first ever week of SW I remember eating this much and I lost 4lb. I have been on (and off) SW since January and to be honest havent been as good as I have this week - since my joining week. Oh well, guess I will leave it to MOnday night
Incidently, I normally follow green days, over the past week or 2 I have started having red days - would this make a difference? I always thought weight loss was quicker on red days - Consultant may be able to help with this??

Honey have you tried to do Success Express? It limits how much you can eat and should give you a nudge in the right direction. Also change what you're eating, an awful lot of slimmers make the mistake of eating the same old thing day after day and a good shake up of your menu can do wonders.

Do I recall you saying you were drinking for England? If so, that's a good thing, but it can take your body a day or two to start to lose any excess water if it's been deprived of it - in the same way it hangs on to every calorie if you cut your intake too low (does that make sense??) It will settle after a while.

It's counter-productive to weigh yourself too often, once a week is plenty, same scales, same time of day and same clothes (as much as poss, you are allowed to wash them occasionally :rotfl: ).

May I suggest that you get your Food Optimising book out and sit and read it, cover to cover. Visualise yourself, back when you first went to class, and remember the thrill of finding out what you could eat and still lose weight. Go back to basics and plan your menus for the week, make sure you've got the food in and organise the time to cook something different. You'll probably see where you've been going a bit wrong (if you have) and things will start rolling agin I'm sure ;)
Ooh, glad you enjoyed the curry sauce, yummy innit??

Suggs One celebrates with a whooping syn free meal - cuury & bhajis sound ok to you? Congrats on your weight loss.

Huggybunny Hi and welcome to the forum.
I couldn't recommend Lighter Life, or any other faddy diet, they're too low calorie, and almost impossible to sustain long term. There's only one way to lose weight successfully and keep it off and that's by learning new, healthy eating habits.

Drag out any old SW magazines you may have and try to rediscover what drew you to SW in the first place - it hasn't changed!
Drink lots and lots of water and fill yourself with free foods - you'll be able to both see and feel the benefits within a week or two.

    Hello everyone

just a small rant at myself really as I've had a bit of wobble today, friends i haven't seen for ages invited me for a chinese, i refused, said I'd meet them afterwards for a drink instead. Just didn't have the points to spare at such short notice, also its a bit too early on for me to be able to confidently say I could resist all the extras.

I'm ashamed to say I had a mini strop (alone thankfully), self pity, blah blah why can't i do this that and the other, its not fair etc etc :rotfl:

Anyway, had my tea now and realised I have quite a few spares so will be able to have a few beers this evening.

Anyway, wobble has passed ! Really helps reading how others are getting on - keep ot up everyone, resist the wobble!

Also, just wondering if anyone finds their skin changes on the diets like WW or SW or others, I have really bad acne but to be honest I haven't seen that much change as yet (5 and half weeks), literally woke up this morning with three boil size monsters on my chin (i am not exagerrating), which are going to be nightmare to cover up lol!

Glad the strop is over - I get nervous around stroppy folk :rotfl:

As for the humungous zits - yes, it seems to happen a lot. I think it may be the change over to healthy food, lots of water etc, shucking the toxins from your body. If they're 'blind' spots (without a head) try covering them with haemorrhoid (sp?) cream......I know, yuk, but it does really work!!!

Thanks for the advice consultant. I have read my food optimising book nearly every night this week so that I can prepare my meal for the day ahead. Thats why I'm concerned that I wont have lost an ounce - I really have stuck to it by the book. I am drinking an awful lot, but there again I am weeing an awful lot too :rotfl:  (too much information I know!)

I try not to jump on the scales - in fact I have put mine away, I used my mums earlier - they are more accurate than mine. I promise not to get on them again 0 scouts honour!!

Don't give up. Sometimes there's no real explanation for a maintain (or even a gain), but if you stick with the plan it will come off eventually. Have you been measuring yourself? Often inches seem to come off on the weeks the weight won't budge.
If all else fails, ask your consultant for an SAS log. It's really good and you can often find out lots about yourself that you weren't aware of. It helps you to see where you may be sabotaging your efforts.

Hi Jujitsu - red and green days are part of the Slimming world plan. HE(a) means healthy extra A.

I havent heard anything about the tesco online diet so cant help you there - I can however recommend Slimming world - I find it easy to follow, with plenty of choice and variety and never feeling hungry!!
