thanks Benjie - that is quite a realistic figure for me. I'd like to work up to double that if I can, if I do that and stop eating cheese I wouldn't need to diet!0

I'm back!
Arrived home mid morning and am knackered!
I have no idea how the food situtaionw ent really as again I wasn't really sure what some of it was, also had wine on the plane - out of desperation as I have the two noisiest most annoying people sat behind me for 13 hours! Enough to drive anyone to drink.
But today is a new day and I'm starting afresh - just like Lois really. I'm home for 2 full weeks and have virtually no customer dinners, business trips or distractions in the diary. I'm going to write everything down again and pretend it's my first week. Will also force myself to do 3 exercise sessions a week - and dog walking doesn't count as I do that every day anayway.
I'm going to go to a different class tonight just for the WI as mine was yesterday and I couldn't make it - so Tee Pee I'll let you know the damage later - I'm really not at all hopeful - the best I can hope for is a maintain I think.
Will face the music later !

I have been doing very well this week on s/w. The s.a.s. log is really working. I'm supposed to be going out on Saturday night. but I really can't be bothered I know I would just drink for the sake of it. I would rather stay in with my new cat Mystie ( she's coming on Saturday) and hubby. put the children in bed and have a glass of wine in front of the telly. I am still aiming for a 2lb loss on Monday.HOW MUCH ?0

Just back from SW WI and have lost 0.5lbs.
Considering the week I've had I'm grateful for anything! )2 days completely off the rails and 5 days working abroad).
Have filled in my food diary for today (first time in ages) and am hopefully going to keep it up.
I'll weigh in again next Wednesday at my usual meeting and so I have almost a full week to get 2/3 lbs off. That's my goal anyway.
How did yours go Tee Pee?
Let start again from scratch today and have a better week?
Off to cook tea now from whatever is left in the cupboard/freezer (haven't been to Tescos yet and OH wouldn't dream of going while I'm away!)
Rachel.
PS Alyssa-Mae - I'd rather stay in with my puppy (who's now 2 , not really a puppy anymore)_ than go out boozing. Are we getting old???0 -
hey alyssa and rachel, i'd rather stay in with some sewing(don't have cute fluffy pets, boo)That makes me really old. I think i've been a TOG since i was about thirteen. It's so much effort to go out isn't it?!
thanks for the advice consultant. Looks like i'm synning with the sweet potatoes tonight then . . . .0 -
What's a TOG? Lois and consultant mentioned this earlier in the thread and I didnt know then!
Welcome to the newest members Benji and Mariel and welcome back Delly - good to have you back! Rachel - well done!! Sorry dont have time for a big long post, dinner in the oven and am just lurking!! Back later for a proper chat!0 -
Rachelmk the traveling you do I'm not suprised you'd rather stay in. and yes we are getting old. I can't handle the morning after feeling anymore. because it usually lasts for a week. Me and my hubby were in bed every night at 9.30 for a whole week after our weekend in blackpool. I have no ideal what TOG means either. tied old git perhaps. On sunday afternoon I only had 2 glasses of white zinfedel and i couldn't stand up.HOW MUCH ?0

Hi all - TOG stands for Terry's Old Geezers - that's Terry Wogan, for all you Radio One fans.

You obviously don't listen to Radio 2 and Terry Wogan (shame on you):rotfl:
TOG stands for Terry's old geezers (or gals) and you may spot car stickers with this on - they are very much sought after I'll have you know! I have been a TOG for many years :rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I'd forgotten how much you can eat with SW - I had a baked potato and a WHOLE tin of baked beans for lunch! (I was only having half a tin on RC.) I even pushed the boat out and had a HE(a) worth of grated cheese with it.
I need to work out my HEs for breakfast though - OH makes porridge for us both using a cup of oats, a cup of skimmed milk, plus water, so there are probably too many oats for a HE(b) and not enough milk for a HE(a)! I must admit to cheating a bit on HEs for cereals, because most of them are 28g plus a scanbran, or a Ryvita, which is far too fiddly for my liking. I usually have 42g of cereal and forget the additions! (Consultant31 looks disapproving.)
Hi KPC - what did you have with your sweet potatoes? I had sweet potatoes tonight, with smoked haddock, and initially I thought I might count the potato as a HE, but realised it wasn't listed, so I decided to make today a green day and had the haddock as a HE.
Welcome back Rachel - well done for losing half, and enjoy the breathing space over the next couple of weeks.
Hi Benjie and Mariel  welcome to the thread and good luck.
Welcome back Delly - my OH would be in the doghouse if he did anything to put my PC out of action. What does F.U.B.A.R.ed mean? I imagine it would end up with lots of !!! when the profanity filter is finished with it! :rotfl:
Consultant, I'm visualising - it's slinky, it's sexy, and it's gonna knock em all dead! (and then I woke up)
How's everyone else doing?
