Wanty passed this on, so I thought we should use it:
    -every time we need sweets
-every time we miss our gym session
    -whenever
    Enjoy!

  • Hello I weighed in this morning. 10st 8lbs will have this as my starting weight. I started 3 weeks ago and have managed to lose 3lbs but it was my birthday last week and i drank and ate far too much. So i will start afresh from today, but i am pleased that i have not put any of the 3lb back on!!!

I have started a boxercise class which i attend on a monday and friday so hopefully this will help me along. Congrats to loopy-loo on slommer of the week.

  • I got weighed yesterday and have put on another 2Lb. I have gained everyweek for the last 3 weeks. I know I have only myself to blame. I have now got a S.A.S log to fill out for the next week so hopefully I will be back on track. I want to lose at least 2LB at my weigh in on monday.

well done to loopyloo and all you other loosers.

Welcome to all the new posters, it's good to see so many joining us here, (and hope you had a lovely birthday Smiley) :D

Freya your Burgen soya & linseed loaf is 5½ syns per medium slice - seems like a lot to me.
We're not allowed to post the SW password as it is copyright protected, but we can look up syn values for anyone - you only have to ask!

Faithless sometimes it takes a while to really get going on a diet plan, and I think you're right in wanting to write everything down to focus yourself on where you want to be and how you plan to get there. Don't lose heart, you'll get there in the end. Are you doing SW?

Just my opinion, but I truly do believe, the key to success in slimming (or anything else for that matter) is planning. As the saying goes "you don't plan to fail, you just fail to plan".
If you can spare the time, perhaps over the weekend, to plan your meals for the following week, you need never have to resort to the biscuit tin when you come home starving and haven't got a clue what to have.
I love my slow-cooker for just this reason, it's so quick and easy to have a tasty meal ready as soon as you walk through the door.

Well done Eels on the 2lb loss :T

Alyssa I'm sure the SAS log will help - it makes you think about how you can be sabotaging yourself and therefore, how to stop it. Good luck!

Madauri I'm jiggling about on my chair as I type - chocolaaaaty, chocolaaaty - should be good for burning off a few cals :rotfl:

omg i can't believe it is so many syns, it's suppossed to be really good for you too. Well my syns are totally over for today then, unless I allow my self to use it as 3 healthy extras.
    thank you

I don't think you can use it as HEs, it's not on the list.
Don't worry about being over you're syns today, work them out on a weekly basis and you can even it up somewhere. It allows a little more flexibility. :)

Afternoon all. Weigh in last night - I put on 2lbs. I wasnt too upset about this as I hadnt been the week before and so had "lost the plot". I set my target last night too - once I get these 2lb back off another 6 to go!! I do believe going to class helps, even if only to get weighed as it focusses you for the coming week. Back on track, have eaten myself stupid today (all free things!). I agree with the planning. I am trying hard to do it and last night even impressed myself by lifting 2 chicken breasts out of the freezer to defrost for tonights dinner. Tomorrow (or tonight if I have time I am going to make a pot of lentil soup for dinner) - free on green as far as I know and I am going to add potatoes to it to make it thicker and to fill us up more. DH weighed himself yesterday at the gym and has lost 3kilos. He is all annoyed, - apparently he "doesnt need to lose weight" (why is that always the way   ). He said he couldnt understand how he lost weight when he wasnt on a diet. Ahh, the beauty of slimming world eh?
Last night I went to pilates, It was great. This is my new plan to help lose weight. Tomorrow night is aerobics. An oxygen tank and an ambulance for 9pm please :rotfl:

    That cracked me up!

Don't worry about the gain, remember your overall loss has been fantastic, keep that in mind.

Well, I struggled with exercise this morning because I was in agony from overdoing it at work yesterday, so I did a very gentle RC routine. Food's been ok-ish - cornflakes and OJ for brekkie, :o sausage casserole and mash for lunch ... :o with an apple though ... ! Dinner's going to be a healthy version of fish and chips.

I'm expecting my new TaeBo DVD anyday now ... exciting! Gosh, how my life has changed!

Anyway, welcome to all ye newbies, hang in here and you'll make your targets! My next one is to crack the next stone barrier ... 3lbs to go and I'll be under 14!
