rachelmk wrote:Hello from Brazil!!! ( I would say it in Portugese but I just got laughed at by the porter in the hotel when I had a go!).
The weather here is just the same as when I left Manchester - coldish and drizzly - you come half way around the world and they can't even be bothered to make it sunny!!!!!
Will try much harder for the rest of the day and until Thursday when I get home. There is a small gym here with a telly that no-one else appears to use so I can go and watch the mental equivalent of Bidup TV in a manic Brazilian way later whilst having a gentle trot on the running machine.
Cheers for now
Rachel.

Hi Rachel, it sounds like you've got a fab job, jetting round the world like you do. I'd love to have the money to travel, but I don't want to have to work when I get there
Do you get much time to sight-see?
Shame about the weather, but it'll make it easier to do your trotting
Have fun (if you can).I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Men are like ........ Pizza
You call them and in 10 minutes you have them hot at your door.

They always go direct to your hips.Ah, the old ones are still the best :rotfl: :rotfl:

Joined lost stone ( horray) not at target but recently started slacking and lost motiviation. My clothes had gone down a size and my confidence was up. So why can't I maintain it?
Went on holiday week B4 last ate loads of crap and now I am struggling to find something in my new wardrobe for work tomorrow ( yes in 2wks) but did it stop me going to a 1st Brithday party today and eating crisps/jam butties/cake sweets etc etc.
Why can't I motivate myself again????? I don't want to be that fat girl again with a muffin over her trousers.

No fun when you're all by yourself.
I get the travel but I still manage to spend all the money that my job brings!
To be honest it gets a bit much after a while and I really yearn to be at home doing normal things like walking the dog or watching Corrie.
There's a bit of break after this trip and I get to stay in the office for a few weeks and I'm actually really looking forward to normality for a while. It's true - you can have too much of a good thing!0 -

I know exactly how you feel - I lost almost a stone and am about 7 lbs from where I want to be am really struggling with the motivation to carry on. I have a good day then a bad day etc
I have given myseld a new goal - lose 5lbs by 20th October (holiday) to see whether that spurs me into action again.
I think that we lose a bit get a bit complacent, think it's easy and then let our guard down. I seem to get into the habit of thinking one choccy won't hurt or I'll exercise that off and then of course never do!
You're not alone and I think the nearer yo get to your target the harder it is to keep going.
Come on - you can do it!!! No muffins for you - cakey ones or otherwise !!
Don't give up

I'm getting weighed on Thursday too (when I get back home).
I'll be good for the rest of the week if you will!
We are capable of this surely - it's just 4 more days.
Good luck - I'll let you know how I get on.
