Hmm, the questions consultant suggested asking made me think. I want to feel attractive again, and be liberated - not only want to have sex under the covers with the light off!
I don't think I've managed to have one good day since I started this bloody dieting lark. The calorie counter gave me a bit of a rude awakening too.
I think to shock myself into realising what I'm actually eating, and what exercise I am actually doing, I want to record what I'm eating.
So, does anyone know of a UK based free online diet journal? Fitday is really good, and it shows you total calories consumed, and burned by exercise, and the breakdown into carbs, protein, etc, but 'cos it's American, you can't find a lot of our foods on there.0 -
Well I am on day 2 of Rosemary and in her 2 week kick start diet.
Its quite scrict for the 1st 2 weeks but surprisingly I don't feel hungry.
Just out of interest does anyone have any RC recipies to use. I have noticed that her site doesn't give any help like the ww one does.
It looks like to me you end up haveing to buy her books..0 -
I lost 2lbs - not bad in the face of a takeaway and wine! Have had a very energetic weekend though, and work this morning has been seriously physical - hopefully I'll reap the benefits next week!
Have a good day everyone!

Hi all,
Day one of my diet. Its my birthday this week, and as a b'day gift, i've decided to stop being in denial about needing to lose weight. So far so good!!0 -
alas consultant, i went so far off piste this weekend it wasn't even funny. Ate more of the fudge (which actually gave me a stinking headache thanks to the sugar content) and then went working in the barley hall in york on sunday. Opposite little betty's. After eating a slice of the authentic medieaval custard tart i'd made. Still, I had no illusions, knew exactly what i was doing and i'm back on track today, despite being informed that my car is ready for the last rites.
Hope you;re having a good time rachel, remember to say obrigado for everything! I used to work in a restaurant with some brazilians. We thought they were portuguese until one of them rode his bike down the M62 and the police did a bit of investigating!0 -

I tend to stick, by argeement with the ex to £50-£60. He is into James Bond and his Xbox, he would love Grand Theft Auto, but his mum would freak! so was thinking about a DK book on James Bond gadgets, and a mp3 player and speakers, but I also fancy getting him a Ipod nano, Apple are selling the refurb 2Gb version for £65, hence the confused state.
Suggs what a lucky little boy which ever he gets he should be well chuffed with, but suggestion - Xmas isnt far away - if you would normally give him more at Xmas then give him the Apple Ipod Nano now and explain that its more than he would normally give for his birthday so you are cutting back a bit at Xmas then let his mum know that you are giving him the DK book on James Bond gadgets, and the speakers for his Xmas with some top up cards for music - I know sainsburys are doing them now where you buy them like gift vouchers. Could solve two problems in one lol0 -
