Eight 8-ounce glasses amount to about two quarts of water. This is okay for the average person, but if you’re overweight, you should drink another eight ounces for every 25 pounds of excess weight you carry. You should also up this if you live in a hot climate or exercise very intensely.
OMG!! A mimimum 14 glasses a day  more if I exercise!

Morning all, sorry I have not been around all week I have really missed you all. Been at a conference in York only got back last night. Lots to read and catch up on and it look like everyone is doing really well.
Food at conference were like school dinners and they offered hot lunch too. Chicken every meal but I did managed to choose fish some days. Really felt like I was eating far too much but did not have that much to drink and the campus we were staying at were huge so lots of walking each day at least.
Off to stay with friend tonight and saturday night to watch the golf at the Grove. That will mean a whole day of walking around the golf course so should be quite good.
Really tired after a long week but lots to get on with today so will have to get on with it now. Sorry I can't mention you all individually but your are great and this board has definitely changed my outlook on dieting and I have learned so much.Save £12k in 25 No 49

"You there, yes you madam, Put the tin down and step away from the biscuits!"
Each biscuit represents a button coming undone on all that wonderful work you have been doing recently. For your sake and for the sake of the good people of this thread, step away now!Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

I went to a macmillan coffee morning I'm scared to admit to how many biscuits, cakes and peices of caramel fudge I've had. then to top it off I got an aero truffle from the shop and had it with a cup of tea. and I haven't drank any water at all today. I have to babysit tonight so i shall be drinking water instead of tea and i will take some fruit with me.HOW MUCH ?0

Put it all down to 'doing your bit for charity' :rotfl:
