I need new scales. They are the electronic ones which weigh as little as 1/4 pound differences. they used to be very good - ony 1/2 pound different to the official SW ones.
I got on today - in the identical place to the last two weeks, on tiled floor wearing the same clothes. First time - a 6 pound loss. thinking this was a bit extreme, I got back on. 1/2 pound gain. Knowing this was a bit mad I got on again. 1 pound loss. Got back on for a fourth time. 1/2 pound loss. Last and final time, 1 pound loss.
Can I say 1 pound loss this week (as it was the result twice!) and I'll think about investing in some new scales for next week. (and the batteries were brand new two weeks ago so it can't have been that!!)0 -
Well done folks on the losses. Have a great holiday Jenpoptab - lucky you!
Came home from work early today and have been in bed since - feel very weak and queasy. Its rotten and rainy outside so its nice being in bed! Cant look at food so must be sick :rotfl:0 -
I have decided to join Rosemary Conley as I haven't done her diet before and the idea you do an exercise class also really appeals. I really want to get a stone off by christmas. In my last works christmas party picture I look like someone who does the shotput.
Has anyone had an experiences with doing her diet and does anyone have any tips0 -
Hi
Like most diets it works if you stick to it. Probably my favourite of the classes available and I've tried em all!
It seems like a healthy one to follow and you can eat plenty so no need to be hungry.
If you look at her website thay often have offers on with reductions on the joining fee by printing off a voucher.
hope that helps.0 -
I've done the inch loss plan, I lost 1 stone in 28 days  The amount of food you can eat is huge, it was too much for me
Actually, I need to dig the book out again. I seem to be addicted to minstrelsBulletproof0 -
Hi Trinny,
Why not come and join some of us on the Lose weight thread - its a sticky at the top of the I wanna board. A couple of folk over there are following Rosemary connelly, you may get some advice over there. Failing that you'll get some advice (if you want it) and plenty of support and motivation...0 -
Evening all! Sorry to hear of your woes delly, but think of the pounds falling off as you walk to school. Don't feel bad about your tiny gain JenIttels, it could even be due to water retention or muscle gain, especially as it sounds like you're getting much fitter - well done! Wow @ your class consultant, that's an amazing figure ... you're obviously as motivational there as you are here. It must be really satisfying to feel how you've helped all those people. As for jenp, I am getting excited about this holiday on your behalf - in fact, I'm going to be gutted when you leave to spend a week bikini-clad in the sun and I'm still here in the soggy UK in elasticated-waistbands :rotfl:. Hope you're feeling better soon honey, stay tucked up warm til it's safe to come out! Oakdale, I feel for you cos I got myself in a right fankle with weights recently, mainly cos I weighed myself about 8 times a day
. I'd recommend binning your scales for a set of tesco stripey ones like mine - they're not fancy and digital and I can't confidently work in less than whole pounds but they're consistent and they agree with how I feel if that makes sense.
Had a lovely 'proper dinner' tonight, and tomorrow's is ready to be switched on in the morning, so I can chill out and plan for Friday night which is chinese and glass of wine night ... :A  :cool:0 -
Have a fabulous holiday Jenp, and well done for your latest weight loss :T

I lost 3 stone with RC classes, and highly recomend them!
The fact that i wasn't just paying to be weighed but got an hours worth of excercise too was good, and i found I actaully enjoyed it!
I went to aqua areobics once a week too, and that was great for toning0 -
Eels, what weight do the Tesco Value scales go up to?? I might invest in some of them.0
