Morning all, hope all ok with each and everyone one of you.

I did a gym session yesterday lunchtime, actually started to try light jogging now and am upto 7 minutes, well chuffed with that. I then tried an aquacise session in the evening, as Im very self conscious the instructor gave me a 1 to 1 session so I knew what to expect. It seemed ok, hard work, so will try a proper class on Thursday.

Unfortunatley I fell off the rails by having a Chicken Kebab and some chips while with the OH, I hope the exercise may help to negate the Kebab. Never mind, onwards and upwards!!!

Off to see the dietitian in a little while, I have good news for her so a new target, no doubt will be set for me.

Lois, just as a thought I think my number on the chart is out by 2lb, but I will double check today, I certian as well as my OH that I have lost 5st 1lb but like I say I may have forgot to updae you one week :o

Rachel never mind, though going by train puts you on Lois' side of the city :)Jenpoptab, lets hope you have a better day today :) remember to enjoy your holiday and have yourself some 'me time'

Not sure if anyone heard it on the radio, but the pub quiz question was
"What breaks when its height is three quarters it depth?"

    Keep Smiling :rotfl:

  • Suggs was that a horse from Hungary or one that needed feeding? :rotfl:
Would I be showing my age if I said I only listen to Radio 2? :D

Welcome Kyle I'm a SW person too, you'd love the diet if you have a large appetite - you can eat loads!! I recently had a new member at my group with around 4 stone to lose. He had a 100% on plan first week and lost an amazing 11½ lbs. But, after that you should aim to lose 1 - 2 lbs a week as Alyssa says.

Ted I'm sure I've seen your posts before (though not on here) they're very informative. Thank you.

JenIttels I'm having a lie down after reading your post! You're very motivated, you should be proud of yourself :A Between you and Suggs, I feel like an idle lump, about the only exercise I do is walking and not enough of that lately.
I have an exercise video, but am I the only person who's floors bounce when I start jumping about :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm always afraid the ornaments will come crashing down!!!!!

It's my group night tonight so won't be able to come back today. Hope everyone has an enjoyable day (at least it's warm and sunny here). See you all tomorrow
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I meant hungry horse as in one that needs feeding, sorry my spelling head in not in place today.

I still listen to Radio 2, listening to it now, but do swap to Radio 5 as well.

You have me stumped there! I listen to Chris Moyles on the way to work in the mornings - he makes me laugh - especially today about the training with Ian Wright. I will think of you listening to it tomorrow whilst I am trying to avoid road rage!!

Hi Kyle, welcome to the forum. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay with us! Well Done Katie on the loss - the kilos confuses me as mine is in pounds but well done you!

Jeni - I went for a free trial at a similar gym to curves, again women only. I enjoyed it, and fully intended to join until I read the small print that the minimum membership was 24 months  12 I could cope with but 24  You go for it, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I am going to get myself a fitness dvd this week and get this butt moving :rotfl:
How'd you get on at the dietician Suggs?
    Enjoy your class consultant!

Has anyone else noticed that they are less tolerant to certain foods after cutting them from their diet? I can't eat chocolate in large quantities anymore - it kills me. In fact anything sweet seems to have the same effect. Dont get me wrong I am not complaining :D just wondered was I the only one? Pity I wasnt having the same problem with wine :rotfl:

Off to sort out dinner now. Back in a while.

    Evening all

Sorry haven't been posting much but felt under the weather for a few days last week and since I have been feeling a bit better have been catching up on all the things I should have done over the past week :o

Well done to Suggs and Oakdale Minx 4lb loss each

Well done to everyone else who lost and good luck for next week for those who maintained or stayed the same.

Welcome to the newbies and for those who have been able to rejoin us. Look forward to chatting to you soon.

Right off to catch up on some more bits and pieces and then I should hopefully have caught up with myself again lol.

Me too, but I think of it as showing good taste rather than age!

In fact it's thanks to Chris Moyles that I discovered Radio 2 because I can't bear him - he used to annoy me so much I'd switch over when he came on. He used to be on our local radio (Horizon) before he moved to the BBC and I couldn't do with him then either.

    I'm an apprentice TOG ;)
