Lose Weight 7

It's 7.30 am (Tuesday) in Japan and last night we went to an Italian restaurant (! I know) for dinner. I was so tired I just had spaghetti with tomato sauce - so hopefully not too bad.
Today is a different matter - I'm in work and our HQ has a massive canteen that we have to eat in and most things are unrecognisable! The one thing I hav found that I can eat (being a non fish eating veggie too) is bolied rice with a curry sauce ( just like chip shop curry sauce).
Will take cupasoups and hope for the best!
Well done to all of you on last weeks acheivements - I'm hoping for a relatively good week this week - not by willpower but by necessity - I can't eat anything here! If I don't lose I need a big slap!
Have a good day

Well whoever was ill a week or so ago has clearly passed the virus on to me. I feel rubbishy and have done since the weekend. Yesterday I got much worse and went through a surreal day where I couldn't seem to stop eating (something inside me reckoned that eating would make me feel better) but think I kept the damage to a minimum.
I did succum and have several slices of wholemeal bread (which i didn't weigh) and also some full blown mayonnaise but considering how much chocolate I wanted to eat I feel I did ok.
the damage should be repairable I just need to make sure I freeze the rest of the loaf so I'm not tempted by it for the most part.
Well done on some really good losses everyone. I'm very envious!0 -
JenI get well soon. Well done for not giving in to the chocolate.
RachelMk enjoy the cupasoups and just pretend you are eating a delicious home cooked meal.
I think I may have lost a pound this week. I am still feeling positive despite having a wobbly week last week. Still can't decide what to do about my hair. I have grown it for ages and now it is doing my head in. I have thought about chopping the lot off and going for a modern bob but don't know if that is just falling into my predictable pattern as I have spent majority of my life with a bob. I'm such an indecisive person though that I will still be debating what to do when my hairdresser comes next week.
10 days 'til holiday now. Just got the cases out so that we can start packing our bits that we won't need until we go away.WW Gold Member, trying to maintain !!!Hayden born July 07Tabitha born April 05Poppy born July 030 -
Jenpoptab - Get your hair cut! A newer shorter style will show off all of the weight you have lost and you can usually reallly see the weight loss around the face. A new you - a new image! How about some colour too? Will look lovely with a nice tan.
Jenittels - hope you feel better soon!0 -
Thak you so much for everyone's support. I'm so glad I found this thread.
Last week i was offered a new job but I can't start until the end of October.
I've decided to set myself a quick goal-lose a stone before I start.
Do you think this is realistic?
It would be great to step into the office and my new boss think (wow, she's lost weight)!!
In addition, I can't drive to work(as I do now) because I'll be working in the other side of London ao I am hoping all that extra walking will help me.
Do you think?
I'm excited and nervous.
I soooo want to lose a stone before I start!!Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

I managed to get the size 10's on and fastened although I had difficulty breathing :rotfl: so went for the 12's. That made my day - I think I'm going to leave the tag on the jeans when I wear them so everyone can see the size :rotfl:
I know, I need to get out more don't IThird time lucky on WW I hope :j

consultant, is it okay if I pm you with a couple of questions? I'm doing bodyoptimise which is ace but it doesn't have an 'ask consultant' facility which i could really do with . . .. .
Sure, I look forward to hearing from you. May not be able to answer immediately though cos it's my group tonight and by the time I've got home & done the paperwork I usually just flop into bed.
Well done Suggs, you must be thrilled :T
Hone, what can I say except, brilliant!! Glad you chose the 12s though cos I find it wuite important to be able to breathe now and then :rotfl:

I think that would work out to a weight loss of around 3lbs a week, which is achievable but the worry is could you keep it up? If you aimed to make more gradual changes before then, like getting into the habit of arranging a healthy lunch and perhaps planning your evening meal for each day, it would help you to lose weight but also prepare you mentally for the fresh start that a new job offers.
I just feel that for me (I doubt I'm the norm) that would be too much pressure on myself. Right now what's working best for me seems to be taking it slowly and being causal about it, and not stressing too much. It's coming off quicker than I thought, overall!
Well done alyssa-mae for taking a really sensible approach to falling off the wagon. You're an example to us all :rotfl: :T0 -
Evening all. Had a lovely day today. Its our wedding anniversary. Made a nice dinner, complete with homemade chocolate cheesecake (not the low fat variety  ). Washed it down with several glasses of plonk and a few baileys. Totally un-slimming world but its only once a year. Tomorrow is another day!
Talk to you all tomorrow, off for an early night :kisses2: :happyhear
